Hektar's malls have 96% occupancy, busy collecting rent and you say it lost money are you kidding me ? The reason Hektar makes right issue was to buy another mall. Hektar has done the right issue few years ago at around rm 1.20 and the share price went up to 1.50 very quick. Please do some homework instead of talking like a half bucket investor.
If the reported profit not true you go report to the police mah. The financial reports of the china companies are so fake but no body complains. Faint...
William Cheng is a billionaire. How abt Hektar boss? Got money to subscribe RI? Subang and Mahkota Parade used to be owned by Parkson if sell now who can buy?
For rental income the retail reits are still better than buying shops your own. The conventional shopping is affected by online shopping and therefore logistic reits are doing well.
Just to remind RI will come soon. Just like L&G RI. Ask your money to pay dividend. You can buy 1 stock but all your capital must dump here to support RI.
Shopping malls oversupply. Why people want to shop at old malls like Subang and Mahkota Parade when there are so many newer malls eg Sunway Velocity, IOI City Mall, etc? No wonder need our money from RI.

RI is still better and fairer than some private placement done without any transparency of who gets it at a good price, as done by another reit recently.

You not aware right issue(RI) coming? Only con stock ask for money(RI) to pay dividend. If RI RM 1-1.1 possible bottom RM 1.1-1.2. Sell now buy OR better.
