Yes , 1 sen dividend announced. Last year's corresponding quarter no dividend. So, this is good sign that the management has confidence. Need to read the report now
Despite EPS dropped either compared to last quarter or 2Q16. For me it still look positive. 2Q17 registered the highest quarter revenue (if I'm not wrong). It means that's no issue for the top line, but it depends on management how to manage cost. The report also saying additional cost due to exhibition cost & labour cost increase, as well as bonus payout (same reason as Jaycorp). I believe FY2017 profit will be better than last year.
this quarter's results was affected by lower sales due to Festive holidays , as explained in the quarterly report. And this has been a recurring pattern. So, next quarter likely to be better.
Cockroach, I agree with what you said. But the management did the forward contract to minimise the forex impact. For example, FY2016 net forex impact is RM767k, while YTD FY2017 net impact RM1.16 million mainly due to 1st quarter incurred loss of RM1 million (Sep to Nov period, due to Donald Trump won the US election hence a lot of companies also suffered unexpected forex loss). If you refer AR 2016, the USD sensitivity analysis is only RM504+/-. Hence, I believe the management is doing the good job for the forex risk management.
this company deserve for better valuation, export market, able customize products, good dividend yield. Additional production line shall generate more revenue and profit this year.
Weaker USD means export-oriented company like HOMERIZ to lose its shine for a while. Nonetheless, without doubt that the company is fundamentally strong. Hence, i'm entering at 0.93.
must have faith with stock like this, ^revenue, ^dividend, high ROE, low PE, strong cash flow, net cash co, & strong management... you will see result for holding it for long term :)
Homeriz is generally in line with market. With this year Net Margin expected to be 17.3%. IEPS remains unchanged with continuous strong fundamental intact and low volatility. So ROE generally maintain at 23.1%. Homeriz has been placed Strong Buy with next target price at RM1.18.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
