Sell on news is the norm, you can buy when the selling stops, JCY would be at RM 1 by early Jan and the dividend would be mid Dec.

JCY eps 3.7 sen. If it can sustain this earning, whole year eps will be 14.8 sen. DY 6%. Cash rich company. TP should be at least 1.20 to 1.40

Agreed with banker. Dividend alone is instant 4% return for this quarter alone based on current price. Usd appreciation stating in December due to fed starting rate hikes. No reason for the sell down other then accumulation by fund/ shark.

yes can see the same thing from monitoring que and price movement since yesterday open. Anyone selling now must be crazy. Giving up at least 40% to 50% potential upside profit! Not to mention the big dividend returns.

JCY’s 5+5 MSC status is due to expire in
Apr 16. JCY is in negotiations with the authorities for renewal and the progress has been
positive so far, according to management. Management expects an outcome by 1Q16.
Should JCY be unsuccessful in obtaining any tax incentive and has to pay the standard
corporate tax rate of 24%, this would lead to a 15% downside to our net profit forecasts and
lower our target price to RM0.93.

Fortunately I also in the market long enough to know that unexplained sell down is always followed by a surge in price recovery shortly after. HK I have the same report. Their reporting is usually quite good without much bias.

JCY climbed to a three-year high of 91.5 sen on Nov 19 before reversing slightly undergoing correction. The trend going forward is pretty simple.

While the prevailing trend still is bullish, a clear penetration of the recent high of 91.5 sen barrier would signal the resumption of a rally, enroute to challenge the upper strong hurdle of RM1.07 or the greater resistance of RM1.25-RM1.26 band in the immediate term. On the opposite, a breach of the of 80 sen mark may see further downside risks and in this case, the lower 75.5 sen floor will be much weaker.
