Still holding, believing that the tide would change. I found it quite unreasonable for such strong fundamental organization share price to drop like this crazy.
Tis time round we were all caught with our pants down! Lamken, any news? "goreng "still on? delayed? or abandoned? Appreciate any latest info if you know, pls email me at tee91@rocketmail.com thank you!
still have an evening session..for those who still no loose a hope - pray hard.. I you are lucky may be few ed Indian come with their arrow to shoot all cow boys down..
worth monitoring now<at current lvl<still watching to hit 1.33>the good news now<sentiment in the world market expected to improve slightly.ECB (european central bank) after keeping silent for quite sometime<has step in with plan A to disbursed 15 bil euro on monday to trouble banks in Greece. still waiting IMF to open their mouth>to englighten the critical crisis in eurozone now.
bro jjtrader...i salute u too for taking fast action in correcting u'r mistake especially when u'r open position is so big...at least u'r managing your risk rather then letting u'r ego & hope taking over. There are many other counters which have better prospect. JCY is too "crowded" with retailers who got trapped at higher price...so many are just hoping to cash out when price advance thus capped the upside potential coupled with the issue whether they can sustain it's good result in next 2 quarters due to the fact of competitors resuming their normal operation & weak global market sentiment..I think the downside is so much greater then upside for JCY. Anyway, having said that I'm sure a lot of lamken supporters will disagree with me...again only time will tell who is right and who is wrong...:)
this downward movement resembles that of 14 May on my 60 minutes chart when it broke down from a descending triangle @1.43 and hit a low of 1.33. If history is repeating itself, we may see a low of 1.28 before a swift re-bounce. let see whether this turns out to be the case today.
Look like JCY now is over sold and today is a 6th day days of MEGA SALE..If the normal stock out there we will reach at a technical rebound at least 1 day but this counter look still continue their mega sale.. i'm query Where they get too many supply of share to press down the price..From this observation i should agree with what Mr CP Teh wrote few month ago- JCY look like a pump & dump stock. how ever it give me a chance to learn the about technical analysis from our forummers here although i leave this battle early..
rookiemy: what hoover i my head now is look like they (don't know either cowboy or red Indian or opportunist) are manipulating this stock to trap small players.. The reason i can say is coz last two month (in march) the bullet(share) was bought by their own company when JCY agree for a share buyback. from my xperience- when a company perform a share buy back, the share price should be steady in the market & not crazy like before coz there are a reduction of share in market and the 'cowboys'(if u all want to say them cowboy) will short of bullets but from my observation from last 6 trading days (including today),look like they have a billions of bullet including C4 and atomic bomb and the game of month of February - march are repeated. that make me to believe what Mr CP Teh wrote few month ago.. how ever we look and see.good chance for a case study.(and next year i think i will come out with a proposal to do PHD in this field)
we have Dr othman Yong and Dr Neoh Soon kean who are qualified doctorate and wrote a book about stock market. may be after 4 years from now i become one of them.. this is very interesting field as u all can be my variable & data..hahahaah
usry: i am not so much into insider news. too much of it will cloud one's judgement. you may think that insider news are to your advantage, but often market may have factored that in. I believe this explained why the sell down after 2nd quarter results announcement. Technically speaking, the ups and down of share prices has to do with supply and demand. when there is no supply, prices go up. when there is no demand, prices go down.
you really can't learn too mcuh from reding book on stock market; if it is so good u think the authors won't make money for themselves.
u need luck, u need collateral support $$$, u need to take risk, and of cos some connection with syndicated players...buy on rumours sell on facts...
technically for eg JCY should be performing with its good results but it is heading south...why? nobody can tell...professional investment houses predict > $2.00 but now JCY is not even 1.40
you need plenty of ass luck n guts to make money in stock market
dRsam@P.Lee: remember how low it went after the 1st quarter results out? From RM1.48 to RM 1.07. This time round, history is just repeating itself. From 1.62 to 1.33, coincidence? ~ 30sen. I can only conclude, market has factored in the 2nd quarter results before its release.
Rookimey:Good idea and i agree with u but how about what was happened for last 5 trading days..? there are more supply in market although there are 2 appetizer to trigger a demand for this stock.. so how to explain that situation. From the demand theory, there are should be more buyers/demand when this company announce good earning report & declare 3 cents dividend. so how about this..? where the supply & demand theory here..? this is just a discussion for wasting time during observe market..
rookiemy : market have factored the 2Qtr resutls and expected slower profit for 3Qtr even with the plant expansion in China - which will take some time for set up till production;anyway market is sluggish thus JCY will be affected too..
usry : last ffew trading days we are in tandem with other markets - all heading south...no such thing as demand/supply market in stock trading...it all boils down to perception and also anyone "playing" that counter..ie why i say, one must know syndicated player..
Frankly, i believe there are people still holding JCY believing in its fundamental. On the other hand, there are short terms traders who jump in neither based on fundamental nor technical, hoping for a winning trade. when the tides turn against them, they throw. i believe, the volume are mainly from this group of people. Just look at the T+4 volume, you will know.
FCTB : 5% of JCY is 137million shares...so what is the 1000lots = 100,000 shares....minor impact only; two theory of thots : one is that pressing down the price to collect and two is no hope liao; btw way the 1000 buyer/seller could be day traders..
you think the relevant authority is so hard working ar to monitor 1000 counters at Bursa?...
there is a different version of averaging down than that we normally aware of. You can still make money in a down trend if you master this skill. I guess that is what is happening here.
rookiemy : believe one should average UPWARD not downward; unless u have unlimited pocket to sustain then perhaps u can average downward but if you notice most of the counters that went south all the way n fast never come back; those who do are likely someone with interest in that counter...look at counter for the man with the current midas touch...
dRsam @P.Lee , u could see the top 30 shareholders of jcy, apart from the big man 74% , the remaining 29 doesnt holding 5% or higher, so.. if it is them that doing the throwing, they dont have to announce it to bursa.
it is probably them, ammb , maybank , cimb , rhbcap+osk , 4 blue chips company, or day trader combine = price get press down.
anyway, their loss is our gain, dont be feel like trapped, it is now or later to collect at lower price.
Good news for asia markets<nextweek market outlook expected green<europe market and us marketexpected to close green this friday taking cue from some +ve development in euro currently>83% of greece opt to stay in euro< the euro is strengthening against the Dollar ,up 0.45%<so traders you know what to do. interesting to watch a lot of counter back into play. although for short period. good luck traders.
FCTB : agreed with your assessment but look out for the 3Qtr announce ment and also when the call-warrant due to expired - this is where the issuers will play punters out
they did it once when WB expire...
be aware
good wishes to you (i hv only afew lots of jcy + some warrant CH)
P.Lee: Like I say, it is different from the normal averaging down that you are referring to. in fact, liquidity involve will remain the same. and of course, personally i would only do this if the counter has fundamental and will reverse its course when things improved.
