but after china production, ASp sure will drop in future. Now already dropping fast.

So even tho earned billions all are priced in, and with dividend distributed.

all the glove counter likely to be a value trap (same scenario with the real estate since 2016)
1) rental unable to cover the monthly mortgage installment
2) dividend unable to cover the capital loss

Looks cheap if you compared against the top
Looks expensive if you look at DCF valuation

My take is to wait another 50% drop - around RM 3 range.

For the investors to recover their cost of investment, the co should 1) Pay high dividends and 2) only do share buybacks when the price is pushed exceptionally low.

Being insiders, they are in the best position to assess the co's performance vis-a-vis the share price hence best judge as to when to conduct buybacks.

According to him, the tax will enable the Government to increase its financial resources as well as help the people who are affected and increasingly squeezed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“This windfall tax is not an unusual thing...this may help the Government because in this time of emergency and Covid-19 problem, we have to spend a lot because we need to help the poor, to give out extra income and we need to feed people who have no food.

“So all these need to be done and require money. Windfall tax coming to profitable company? Expect companies to manipulate financial records to report lower return or profitable companies looking to exit and relocate to other countries.

Don't main2 with windfall tax (more like whim tax, suka2 increase tax). Business prefer stable regulation. Suka2 naik tax, how to do business! Then later you wonder why Malaysia no longer have "profitable" industries.
