Benhobenhobenho Instead of buying yesterday, it will be much cheaper to buy today. U get more than 0.35 dividends, almost 0.50 if buy today n don't have to wait for few weeks, u get 0.35 instantly plus extra.

Yes true. Given Malaysian's preference for taking dividend, it is better to buy today than yesterday if you intend to keep the stock. While it is usually cheaper on ex-date, but not always, so there's a risk of buying high on ex-date.

We all expect a fall today, but how low will it go? Got money good time to kutip cheap2.

@bang_miskin not so cheap yet.. at current price of 5.37, that's 5.72 before ex, which was the price I bought in last week. Remember what we talked about Kossan and Harta when Kossan's QR was released?

@jolynce. Agree current price not the cheapest yet. But if you have to choose to buy at ex-date or the day before, ex-date is usually cheaper because people sell after collecting dividend. Let's see if the downtrend continues this afternoon.

EPF =RSS, RSS=EPF........EPF got 8% Harta shares, about 280,000,000 units.....Today after ex-date , epf will get RM 98 million dividend...... with this RM 98 million, EPF will contunue to RSS .....wakakakakakakakakaka ....

Why worry when the company's fundamentals are strong? We should thank the poor sentiments for pushing share price down, accumulate cheap cheap. Too bad I have already reached my target on this counter, but will be ready to accumulate more when drop below RM5.

Should close today at 5.45.

Looks like it needs to drop another 10% before I start buying again.

As with Bang Miskin, I've reached my limit with 45% of my portfolio in Harta but if it goes below RM5.00, I will dive in because I believe that it's worth much more than that.

If I double down on Harta at below RM5.00, 70% of my portfolio will be riding on it.

It's a difficult decision , so I won't be rushing in. Just not yet.

In the next 3 months, the biggest challenge for Harta will probably come from overall market sentiment.

Glove sentiment itself is so beaten down, the most it can go down based on glove sentiment or further drop in ASPs is probably another 10% before the next set of quarterly results.

However if we see a 10% to 20% drop in Wall Street, we may see a similar drop to the Bursa shares including Harta.

Although as we approach window dressing season at year end, that's probably unlikely?

The hardest thing is to do nothing but just wait but I really have no choice.

Unless its really attractive, not worth buying some more as I am already so exposed and have little bullets left.

The dividend payment on Dec 2 will add some bullets, plus the other dividend I've earned this year since owning Harta.

If i didn't have so much Harta shares in my portfolio (45%), the contrarian in my will certainly start picking up at current prices.

Last year I did so buying both Royal Dutch Shell and HSBC as it was falling to 25 year lows.

So now lets all see what happens in the next 3 months.

Based on last quarters results Harta's dividend next quarter will probably drop by 60% from 35.2 sen to say 14 sen.

Based on today's closing price of 5.45, its about 2.5% return in a quarter which is very good.

So a lot rides in the next quarters results. Hopefully ASPs stabilize by then.

jpm is the 1st to issue bearish view as compared to local research houses who remain bullish at that time. I would trust jpm TP of RM4.00 & believe it could go lower. Just look at Topglove's share price right now.

Given how sluggish the Malaysian stock market, the poor sentiment, and the expected downtrend in the next two quarters (6 months), RM4 is possible. But in the meantime, I will be busily accumulating this counter. At RM4 maybe I'll just go all in and wait it out for the next two years. Tak perlu fikir banyak.
