And If you notice all this while the seller is only EPF alone. EPF is actually pakat with the IB to sell their shareholding whenever IB set the TP as RM XXX to force retailers to sell their shares. That is the tactic being employed by the Big Financial Institutions to deceive you of coz with the help of EPF/KWAP/KHAZANAH.

As long as the company is making profit quarterly, in the long run you will reap what you sow.

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 10): Analysts have maintained their "sell" calls on Hartalega Holdings Bhd, and cut their target prices (TPs) for the glove maker, after its earnings for the first quarter ended June 30, 2022 (1QFY23) were below expectations.

Hong Leong Investment Bank Bhd (HLIB) slashed its TP to RM1.92, from RM2.37 previously, on the back of lower utilisation rates of plants and average selling prices (ASPs) of gloves.

In a note on Wednesday (Aug 10), HLIB said ASPs are expected to stay at around US$20 (RM89.14) per thousand gloves in the near term.

“In view of the intense market competition, the management expects utilisation rates to decline going forward, with current utilisation hovering around 50% to 60% (in line with industry players).

“Hartalega has also decommissioned some of its older plants to reduce its overall installed capacity and operating cost,” the research house added.

HLIB also cautioned that Hartalega could be at risk of removal from the FBM KLCI in the upcoming semi-annual review should its share price deteriorate further.

Analysts....what do they know. They all makan gaji only. They dont drive fancy cars. These are the same analysts who were predicting 30 to 40 when it was trading at 20 peak.

It will close around unchanged today for a hammer candle reversal. Thereafter it will climb back within sideways range 2.60 - 2.90.

@charles average price @4.5, so it's about 50% now when only looking solely at capital. But after taking into account the huge dividend payouts in 2021, i think its less than that, lazy to quantify exactly.
