9. PROPOSED RENEWAL OF GENERAL MANDATE FOR THE DIRECTORS TO ALLOT AND ISSUE
SHARES IN THE COMPANY PURSUANT TO THE DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT SCHEME

“THAT, pursuant to the Dividend Reinvestment Scheme as approved by the shareholders at
an Extraordinary General Meeting held on 19 June 2013, the Directors be hereby authorised
to allot and issue such number of new shares in the Company upon the election of
shareholders of the Company to reinvest the dividend pursuant to the Dividend
Reinvestment Scheme until conclusion of the next AGM upon such terms and conditions and
to such shareholders as the Directors may, in their absolute discretion, deem fit and in the
best interest of the Company PROVIDED THAT the issue price of the new Shares shall be fixed
by the Directors at not more than 10% discount to five (5)-Market Day volume weighted
average market price of the Company’s shares immediately prior to the price fixing date at
the material time.
THAT the new shares, shall upon allotment and issue, rank pari passu in all respects with the
existing shares, save and except that the new shares shall not be entitled to any dividends,
rights, allotments and/or any other distributions which may be declared, made or paid, the
entitlement date of which is prior to the allotment of the new shares issued pursuant to the
Dividend Reinvestment Scheme.
THAT the Directors of the Company be hereby authorise to do all such acts and things as are
necessary or expedient in order to give full effect to the Dividend Reinvestment Scheme with
full power to assent to any conditions, modifications, variations and/or amendments as may
be required by the authorities or as the Directors in their absolute discretion deem fit and in
the best interest of the Company.
AND THAT any Executive Director and/or Secretary of the Company be hereby authorised to
obtain the approval from Bursa Securities for the listing and quotation of the new shares to
be issued pursuant to the Dividend Reinvestment Scheme.”

@bigmacmj. U have options, if you want dividend, then no need to post the Dividend Reinvestment form. Just ignore it. If the market price is reasonable, then you can reinvest with your dividend. Usually a discounted price of less than 10%. It is your choice. TQ.

I think DRIPs are terrible, cause it dilutes sharebase. People who want to use their dividends to reinvest can do so on their own by buying at the market w/o needing to dilute the sharebase.

INCREASE IN REVENUE NOT FROM SALES BUT FROM ADDITIONAL RENTAL RECEIVED FROM NEWLY COMPLETED INVESTMENT PROPERTIES.

THIS SHOWS 2 THINGS:

1) TAMBUN INVESTMENT PROPERTIES ARE WELL TAKEN UP WITH GOOD RENTAL YIELD (THIS IS NOT A ONE OFF LIKE SELLING HOUSES. BUT INCOME RENTAL WILL BE RECURRING.
SO VERY GOOD FOR FURTHER DIVIDEND PAYOUT

2) WITH THE UPCOMING LAUNCH OF IKEA IN BATU KAWAN THE RENTAL WILL EVEN GO UP HIGHER AND HIGHER IN FUTURE YEARS DUE TO AN INCOMING BOOM BROUGHT BY IKEA


So Tambun is giving out dividend like a REIT. But better tha any listed REIT as Dividend Yield is 8.9%

……..as well as unbilled sales. In tandem with slump in new sales, TIL’s unbilled sales declined further to RM48.6m as of 1Q18 (vs 4Q17: RM66.0m). The Group’s unbilled sales now underpin its topline visibility for about 2 months or equivalent to 0.2x of its 2017 revenue, mainly driven by projects such as Raintree Park 2 and Pearl Tropika.

Sales were anemic during past quarters due to:

1. GST sapped consumer purchasing power
2. Overall gult in Highrise and High end houses
3. Stringent Bank loan requirement

That was then.
Now:

1. Penang is the New Govt (no more opposition state)
2. Scrapping of tolls on Penang Bridge proposed
3. Opening of IKEA in Batu Kawan expected to provide jobs and 6 million shoppers expected.
4. New Boom in Penang, Langkawi & Kedah soon.
5. No Gst and probable loosening of stringent loan for genuine buyers


Both Tambun Current Rental Assets and coming new launch for year 2019 should do well.
One foretelling sign is the sanguine 4.7 sen dividend by management which indicate better times ahead.

profits have been dropping consecutively every quarter. Unbilled sales declining. Read whatever recommendations here with a pinch of salt. Most ppl would sell after receiving dividends.

Kenokaya... if you buy before ex date and hold till entitlement date, you will entitle the divident 4.7 cents per share. Buy before 31 july and hold till 1 ogos..

almost all property counters report lower earnings in the last financial quarter compared to the preceeding one. The coming quarter will be no different, esp with the uncertainty post GE14. If you've been to Pearl city you'll notice that occupancy rates are still very low.

my cousin bought a house in taman laguna 10 years ago at 300k now worth 900k,unrealistic price.even in penang 10 years ago if bought a condo at 300k now only worth 600++k
