Looking at our own houses, our TV, washing machine, dryer, fridge, air con, are mostly energy saving machines! Go down the streets, so many retailers closed shop, factory shut down, foreign investors pulled out from Malaysia, resulting less electric usage!

To make thing worse, Malaysia government is using Tenaga to help the rakyat by giving discount in electric bills. This will cut Tenaga profit margin!

Apart from that, 66% of electric generated by Tenaga using Charcoal and the renaming 30% comes from natural gas. The prices for charcoal and natural gas has been raising tremendously for the past few months! This will erode provide margin of Tenaga!

Looking to the FUTURE, BIDEN government is moving towards GREEN ENERGY! Malaysia will follow this very soon by promoting SOLAR energy! This will result in less energy usage provided by TENAGA, hence less profit from TENAGA!

All in all, wondering how Tenaga going to profit from it?! Think carefully!

Tenaga’s bottom building process has likely reached an end, says RHB Retail Research

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 15): RHB Retail Research said Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s two-week bottom building process has likely reached an end with the stock forming a while candle which crossed above the 21-day SMA line in the latest session.

In a trading stocks note today, the research house said a positive bias may appear above RM9.80 with resistance levels set at RM10.30 and RM10.55.

“A downside breach of RM9.80 would negate this positive trading setup,” it said.

1) Retails are all re-opening, hence more commercial electric usage
2) MCO is coming to an end soon (note : current state is as good as CMCO)
3) Cases are dropping
4) Any political change... we still need electricity! It's a monopoly game
5) Not to mention, vaccines are proven to reduce the numbers. I can only imagine the share will reinstate back to it's average RM13 price in no time once vaccine is shipped to msia.
