Ya.. except one off impairment loss, the profit is there.
But in future the revenue may drop without the splash income.

Currently the overseas property sales project still under initial stage, so many not see the revenue in next few QR.

Today is window dressing?
See the next few day any change of substantial shareholdings.

From Q4FY18 quarterly report, we can see the followings in FY2018 :
I) Construction segment achieved record-high revenue.
ii) Property segment achieved record property sales.
iii) Core net profit (exclude one-off gain/loss) is at new high.

Management also guided that water concession business will see lower earnings in FY19, but overall business performance in coming FY19 is anticipated to improve due to higher property sales especially in Vietnam, and MRT2 construction progress continues to pick up pace.

At current RM3.36 stock price and core EPS of 32.74sen in FY18, Gamuda is selling at 10.3x PE multiple, which is cheap for a construction leader.

With the disposal of SPLASH, expect future PATMI to be affected. Concession segment used to be the largest contributor of profit despite their low revenue contribution. It has the highest margin among all, now part of it is gone.

is the price drop weeks ago already took into account splash factor, the news was widespread, the recent 4th quarter report only putting it in writing, plus they are going to buy back shares pending agm approval, that shows strong future ? plus last 2 days activity was no bilis game, all shark, probably got insider news already.
