Buy the rumors sell the news only works when there is one piece of news. Those who sold might regret it sooner than they thought. TP 3.68 with one news. What is the next TP? ;)

Is a norm for this counter, each time there was an announcement of new project secured, next day the share price dropped.
People bought before the news, sold after the news.
Bought on news, sold on news.

Can be very sure they under-quoted to secure the Sg project as the MRT2 Phase 1 & Phase 2 will be completed next month & year end respectively. By hook or by crook, got to secure a new project.

Sharefisher, i am telling the facts for people to explore. I did praise this counter when it was good, for example chances of getting projects in Australia in the past. But now this good factor has gone.

Do not listen only good news but also need to know bad news. I know many people only like to hear good news.

Please do not fall in love with any stock counter, but just invest with wisdom.

You check how many time the share price dropped after new project announcement. No need too far, just starts from Penang master transport plan during Lim GE as CM until now.

welcome sharefisher. the only game changer now for this counter will be the Australia side.

MRT-2 Phase-1 & Phase-2 are going to end soon, by end of March 2022 & end of Dec 2022 respectively. That are with much budget slashed by the Pakatan government with less profit margin & much reduced scope of works in term of design fixtures & number of stations, both for elevated & underground. Whereby for northern & southern elevated sections, PDP contract changed to main contractor, and for underground section remain the same as main contractor.

You can see the almost completed stations now are with simple station design, compromised finishes, lesser cover walkway length, less station ceiling & much much more.

investment in airline & construction stocks can only be short-term or mid-term. this counter is a political sensitive stock. In fact, any change of government, the price dropped.

2018 BN changed to Pakatan - dropped
2020 Pakatan changed to PN - dropped

More projects are in the pipeline for Gamuda. Share price will be back to its prime after GE15. We need a stable government and start to roll out all the infrastructure projects.

To revert to the old format, just replace everything before the counter number in the address line with:

The old format looks much better and the date and time of a post is much more informative than "5 hours ago" or "1 day ago”. Also the limited window height is a bad joke.
