Be a contrarian. If not bad news, it wun drop. It no drop, u cannot buy cheap. Question to ask.

1. Will gamuda go bankrupt? Unlikely.
2. Also it drop because next Q will be ugly. Toll collection very low due to MCO but it will eventually return and if not mistaken, part of the contract sort of promise the minimum they will get or else gomen compensate. Correct me if wrg.
3. Fastest way to raise gdp is to introduce massive infrastructure projects. Gamuda is top 1 or 2 in the field.
4. EPF, Pension fund, ASB and with other fund hold 50% og Gamuda. Sultan Perak Sister dispose 0.034%. Not even 0.05%

Never know where is the lowest. Collect slowly.

Gamuda is in a doldrums. Political vacuum, no planning or forward projects ahead. Even existing
projects are in danger of Not getting pay on time. Actually 90% Gov projects are not pay on time.
Nearly every cents Gov had, is spent on Covid

Yup, gomen payment does sux but normally before end of year, they will try to release all payment cause any unused money will be return to MOF and once returned, the gomen agency want to take back is very hard and the officer or ministry in charge will be in deep shit trying to explain why it wasn't paid off on that current year.

As for the news MRT 3 is not under gamuda, It was reported that half of line 3 to be underground. I was wondering whole else have the tunnelling machine and expertise? I could be wrong but welcomes those willing to share the info. Thanks

Gamuda is one of best proxy for recovery. Gamuda business and earning is resilient, business division includes: 1) Construction and infra, 2) Property and 3) Infra and water utilities. For construction, it is the biggest in malaysia, coming job include Penang transportation master plan worth 6 bil and MRT 3 which will roll out next year. More, It is tendering JOB in Australia worth AUS 6bil. FOR MRT 3, it is certain that Gamuda will get the job with the previous expertise and the tunneling machine, i really cant think of others who has expertise and financial to undertake MRT work. For the property division, the business is well diversified into other contries, e.g. singapore, Vietnam which is doing well. Under the Infra and water division, gamuda controls four highways in malaysia, this division's earning is very resilient and contrubutes consistently about RM 200mil +++ yearly. In addition, It is proposing to set up a Highway Trust worth RM6bil+ to unlock the highway value, so expecting a special dividend if this materilise. Financially, the balance sheet is very strong with debt gearing below 0.3..

I started buying at RM3 and every 30c drop (10%), i buy a little more......bought 2nd tranche at 2.70. Next i park 2.40. I allocate to buy at 5 batches. See will it drop to 1.80 o not.

ppl said only gamuda can drill tunnel...It is True??... as far as i know a group of Ah Pek sub-contract to do the Drilling...Gamuda hired Consultant to oversee drilling....The Giant Drill / Circular
saw machine is rented from a foreign Co. ( also got Consultant )
Technically Gamuda is similar to any Bumi Co. ( Mr Ten percent ) which All the works are done by
Hired Hands......Any Bumi Co also can drill Tunnel...just Hired Gamuda sub-contractors...they are
same as "political frog"....Have money will Jump

首相宣布1】首阶复苏区 11经济活动明起复工

吉隆坡15日讯）周一（16日）开始，在第一阶段国家复苏计划区的11项经济活动获准重新开放营业！

首相丹斯里慕尤丁发文告指出，由于意识到经济领域迟迟不开放将影响私人界及员工生计，因此政府同意从 8 月 16 日（周一）开始，让11项经济活动重新复工。

获准复工的经济活动及领域计有:
1. 洗车店
2. 电器和电子商店
3. 存放家居用品和厨具
4. 家具店
5. 运动器材专卖店
6. 汽车配件店
7. 汽车配送销售中心
8. 仅限早市和农贸市场
9. 服装、时装和配饰店
10. 珠宝店
11. 理发店和美容中心/沙龙（基本理发服务只要）

不过，他指出，有关宣布仅落实在成人疫苗接种率达50%的州属，而想要享有这些方便的人也必须得完成两剂疫苗的注射。期间，他就以巴生谷为例指出， 该区18岁以上的接种率已经达到64.7%， 因此可以获准重启11项经济活动。

他表示，届时，民众得出示数字证书，证明自己已经完成接种2剂疫苗。

“我再次提醒，完全接种的意思是注射第二剂双剂型疫苗后的 14 天，而单剂疫苗则是 28 天后才算完成。”

他也说，进一步详细指南，他将会在近期宣布。

More economic activities allowed in states under Phases 1 and 2 of NRP where half of adults fully vaccinated from Aug 16 — PM

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 15): Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today announced the government has agreed to allow 11 more economic activities to be reopened in states and federal territories under the Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP), provided that 50% of the adult population have been fully vaccinated.

In a statement today, Muhyiddin said that the consumers looking to take part in the economic activities must have received full vaccination and that owners of the businesses must ensure that the customers entering their premises show the Covid-19 Vaccination Digital Certificate to prove that the individuals have indeed received full vaccination.

The 11 economic activities allowed to reopen effective Aug 16 (Monday):
• Car washes
• Electrical and electronic stores
• Home goods and kitchenware stores
• Furniture stores
• Sports equipment stores
• Car accessory stores
• Car dealers and distributors
• Morning markets and farmers' markets
• Clothing, fashion and accessories shops
• Jewellers
• Barbers and hair and beauty salons

Further, Muhyiddin also announced that the government has agreed to allow another 11 more economic activities for states and federal territories under Phase 2 of the NRP.

They are:
• Photography stores
• Second-hand goods stores
• Florists and nurseries
• Handicraft and souvenir shops
• Antique shops
• Toy stores
• Carpet stores
• Businesses involved in creative content and providing equipment for creative industries
• Outdoor sports stores (including camping, fishing equipments, etc)
• Cosmetics, skin care and perfume stores
• Vape and electronic cigarette stores

Muhyiddin reminded that fully vaccinated individuals are defined as those who have received two doses of Covid-19 vaccine for more than 14 days. These vaccines are Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Sinovac vaccines.

Meanwhile, Individuals who have received single-dose vaccines such as Johnson & Johnson and Cansino will be considered fully inoculated 28 days after they have received the jab.

Muhyiddin also announced that the government has agreed to allow public recreational parks for states and federal territories in Phase 1 to be opened for recreational activities.

However, only individual activities such as jogging, cycling and exercise are allowed, in line with the sports and leisure standard operating procedures in Phase 1.

"This decision is very important for people to get more time to be out in the open and have a better ventilation system than just being confined at home. So, I really hope that this will not be abused," he added.

As at today, states are federal territories in Phase 1 are Kedah, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, and Putrajaya.

Meanwhile, states in Phase 2 are Penang, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and Sabah.

States and federal territory in Phase 3 are Perlis, Sarawak, and Labuan.

It is worth noting that the current full vaccination rate in the Greater Klang Valley is at 64.7% of the adult population, and 47.4% of total population, according to the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force.
