I just want to add, I hope this information will be useful to everyone. A stock is trending 30% of the time, 70% of the time is trending sideway or no trend. Hence it is very important to catch it trending. It is also very important to catch it at the beginning of the trend. Using Elliot wave theory, you can ignore Wave 1 but not miss out Wave 3 which is the most impulsive wave. Thank you.
I won’t give up, Bro Sj3. Never say die until you really try. I made a copy of your posting so that I can refer later. See..I told you that your skill is in your blood... you'll never forget. This is just refreshing your memory ... you kill 2 birds with one stone. Help people in need (mainly ME) & rekindle your memory. Well, with Lesson 1... Bro Sj3 you should know where I stand. I'm just like a baby learning how to crawl. I'll most probably give you shocking answers but with every painstaking explanation from you I crawl a step nearer to my goal.... Bro Sj3, thanks for taking the effort & time to prepare the write ups.. Good night....
Good Morning, Bro Sj3. You had a late Saturday night. The above noted. Looking forward to your next chapter. No hurry take your time. I’m off to Sunday market. Lots of things to see… like pasar pagi. Village people will come out to sell their home grown veggies or home made goods. See you later.
Bro Sj3, “so may i ask you once more, please how do you tell it is in stage 1 and stage 3? “ Answer :- Stage 1 is when a stock has come DOWN and moves in a straight line/sideways with no significant ups or downs for some time. Stage 3 is after the stock had moved UPWARDS than will rest and trade side way again with no major ups and downs. Bro Sj3 are you testing me to see if I catch what you wrote in Lesson 1? I like it… at least you can correct me if I misinterpret. … but extra work for you loh. “ cannot determine without data that is for sure. so where to look for it? this thread although info provided is over a short time period.” Answer: I found this site on historical prices. http://www.klse.info/counters/historical-prices/stock/5789 I have MBB trading account so I kind of depend on the charts available there. Can chit chat now… Yes, you are right, I am a typical kampong lady. No much exposed to the outside world. That’s why I’m a bit donggoi (stupid) at times. Hence, family is very protective of me. I was also busy this morning after my fruitful pasar pagi outing.
Bro Sj3, glad to hear that you are having a wonderful time with your grandchildren. We are taking a free & easy trip with our lessons … remember no deadlines……….. so no worries Enjoy your wedding dinner & I’ll see you tomorrow.
Oooo... Bro Sj3.. thank you for making the sky seems so bright & shiny this morning... can go and kapor in inwest's home now & monitor Hexza which I just bought 29/11/13 at 0.665. See you later...
Bro Sj3… got it, you can delete. I’ll recall your memory if I don’t understand at any point and need to ask you for clarification. So no worries. My free time is normally after lunch about 2PM… than at night after 9PM, unless there is any family outings or visitors. But I do pop in now & than (when time permits) to check on my counters & the postings here (especially 932 & LBS thread) . I was in the midst of cooking tom-yam… while waiting for it to simmer to extract the full aroma and here I am again. OK.. now back to my tom yam….. enjoy your newspaper.
FreeThink... thanks would appreciate that very much. I can try but I believe with Sj3's explanation I can understand and absorb better. I also did download some books but sad to say my standard of understanding is very poor. With someone kind enough to pin point your mistakes and guide you along... it sure makes one hell of a difference as compared to me struggling alone....but with Sj3 as my mentor, I have confidence that I can improve. Thanks again buddy!
Ha!ha!ha!... I dont think I can ever be near Inwest but being able to identify the trading pattern of a stock, knowing when to enter & exit and can make some pocket money (dont be greedy)is more than good enough for me. And I'm learning to that now, thanks to Bro Sj3.
No... Bro Sj3... its good to comment on LBS too. Are you look at the intrachart in i3 here, 6mths chart. Your stronger resistance of 1.70 and support rests of 1.64 is it from trading day 27/11/2013, where the highest & lowest is as per mentioned. Bro Sj3, I'm just getting the feel of it.. dont mean to move ahead of my lesson.
001 my earleir posting not complete. your competitors will want to have an edge over you and others by trying to keep one step, better still two steps ahead in the market. your competitors are :- 1. people in the same category like you. have a knowledge about trading. try to interpret the charts and indicators to make a prediction of price movements. your competitors would use all technical indicators or select a few preferred indicators to determine the sentiment. also use all parameters on the charts and preferred selected few for the same purpose. here, people here has different skill levels to do the interpretations. 2. uncles and aunties who follow blind (rumours, herd instinct) and tikam tikam(akin to gambling). but in gambling, also got win sometimes but 90% wrong. human being is a strange creature. when win, play small, small. when lose (got emotional, hot hot), play big, big. so you might hear of story i like this one use by a contributer in this forum "got burnt real bad and warded into icu." this person has a great sense of humour. i like. you know in the 90's, these resulted in some people jumping out of buildings. at that time everything anything goes no ceiling/floor price. now to cap the financial loss and prevent serious harm bursa malaysia implemented the 30% limits (either direction up or down). 3. people using softwares developed by trading houses. each software different using different indicators and parameters. in addition, everything is intrepreted. all these people see in the screen is the buy/sell signals. so if like, press buttons on computer to carry out transactions. 4. people from the funds. these are the biggies. big bucks, sophisiticated programmes, many staff(each given several counters to trade) engaged to do trading. same here sell/buy signals automatically flashes on the screen. winning chance for group 2 sorry lah very low. group 4 stands to gain the most from the stock markets because analyses come out right most time.
Bro Sj3... this morning was abit risky but it does make a very good example for your 'bungling' student. Picture speaks a thousand words! Yes... Bro family time... see you at 2PM.
It amazed me that LBS bought back share at 1.66 and 1.67 level. As if the company thinks that the share is still not expensive at this level? Jupiter securities just gave a buy call at 1.66 as target price is 2.33 to 50% discount at 4.66 RNAV
Mr OTB can you advise on your once recommended stock? Directors has been accumulating for few continuous weeks. Would u advise buy agian on this stock?
Technical chart is very weak, I am giving out hope on this stock. There is no interest on this stock. Directors play themselves only. Very difficult to earn their money. Ten cents is bigger than lorry tyre. Thank you.
company sold of land in china....started payout this year in 8% dividend on top of normal div. But next year is lower payout i think 6% on top of normal div.
