Net asset of P&O is about rm1.50 after payment of dividend on 25th June. This is without considering the hidden value of unsold 51% share in its POI. Holding cash more than rm150m. The story should not end with dividend payment!
Hi all, i m new here.. just wanna ask how & when will the dividend to pay out? I am using Maybank2u to buy the share, it will direct bank in to my account?
Yes, it is direct deposit into your saving account. The dividend already expired so if u buy now u won't get any dividend until the next dividend announcement :) Cheers
This stock always give dividends, you can check the history. Last year dividend paid out 6 times :) Good stock to hold for long term. Contra players pls stay away from this stock
Next resistance is 1.41... after which will rebounce up again. Yup, will be up again after the next dividend announcement. SO HOLD ON to your shares if you don't want it to drop any further :)
My luck rest on the 25% chance to take profit. See my posting on 3rd June when I heard some noises hoping to help forumers to make a decision to sell. But then like what some used to say, so long as the FA correlates to the price, price movements are temporary. Sure.
P&O is not in my preferred counter for medium or long term. I dont hold many shares on longer term for want of time or monitoring them except that now we have small gadgets like smart phones.
You may say that: 1.I ride on the bull run coupled with the situation of an impending special dividends. 2.I have been once bitten but shy many times over. 3. This cigar puffing boss, wonder he is still around, plays his shares in the past catching contra or weak holders. After all, in insurance industry you need to be good at generating income from investments with the cash premiums they have in their pockets. 4. We are in a high price bull run 2 days before ex. 5. The market is always there, monday to friday.
If I have time I will write about TGOFF unusual activities remisier had been telling me prior to the run to 70 sen and then retreat in rapid manner to 45 sen. All these come with some experience in bursa. Luck plays a small part in your winnings.

Thank you for your advice and I really appreciate it so much. I got stuck at 1.80 so I think it will rise back to the price I bought or higher if I hold it for long term based on the dividend history and the price movement. Please do correct me if I'm wrong because you have more experience than me.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
