Judging from SKPRES quarter performance, i dont think VS will be able to show superb profit this time.mainly due to strong ringgit performance the past 3 months...just my brief&simple minded opinion..

despite whether big kaki big shark will purposely press down the current price from 2.95 to 2.7 and warrant from 1.27 to 1.0~1.1, Or directly push up the price~ within 2 months, VS mother will back to 3.2~3.3, and warrant will back to 1.4~1.5~

vs manufacturing ;

vs msia - should not worry, main customer keurig and dyson volume ok, they had buying new factory to have bigger warehouse and currently building new one in front of VS18 (HQ)
vs indonesia - last qtr post profit, guess should profit too (i have no info)
vs china - last qtr loss due to new project, this qtr said to be profit (i hvae no info)

if china to be profit, mgmt said should hit >50m, maybe 60m. this is what i believe. its up you to decide.

but somestimes in klci, post profit also counter loss like hell like masteel and hy today

By end of day 28/2/2018, KWAP help 127mil shares (total direct & indirect),

Direct is held by KWAP themselves, indirect is held by fund managers on behalf of KWAP.
Anyone please correct me if im wrong

@dayday, investment in other cmpny will add to others income in balance sheet

NEP 20% stake buy with cash do have record in cash flow. But it was done in 2016 so should be recorded in 2016 ledger.

others e.g.
dayang stake in perdana
waseong stake in penergy

unless it was done under separate vs subsidiary which is privately own

I can almost guarantee this coming quarter may not hit above 50mil profit. With its price movement, very similar to skp. And indeed their profit not so good.

will kacau a while only. if u r a boss of a big company, when election, will you stop production and causing poor qtr result? your production still running, order coming in, improving revenue, higher profit during election, so after election you disclose good result, will price push higher? think about it.

Kimpau, you know we always want you to be correct, but so far..sigh..Anyway Ok let the figure reveal itself next month, I'm just warning those that hasnt enter don't enter just yet as it may not hit expectation of 60mil. VS expectation for this year is at least 60-70mil/Quarter. Finger's crossed.

When OTB recommend masteel and KYY dont, i dont follow both. I follow myself.

Myself telling me Masteel is good. Others steel rebar also good include ssteel, anjoo & liondind based on current steel sell price. And its proven that all of them have better earnings in FY17 compare to FY16 and FY15. Somehow, investor are kiasu, so they panic sell. Ssteel post better earning also drop. News that US going to impose tax worry them (eventhough most msian rebar maker didnt export to us). All baseless but market is always right even the news are wrong.

And now i play here in VS, i only follow myself based on the info i have. Im confident that VS going to be better. Its my judgement.

If some of you agree with me, you can follow but the responsibility is still under your own. If some of you not agree, its your opinion but i will show my fact and figure to support my judgement. If you have better info, pls submit here so we can compare. Thats how forum should works.

I rarely condemn others unless others condemn with rubbish. You can read many of those rubbish at HY. One enjoy the other one losing/mistake (actually himself also not correct and losing money).

next week if trump steel and alum tariff confirm to implement, trade war going to happen, certain countries may retaliate with another tariff
