@Maxpower, That was my thought as well. Furthermore, their property venture is mostly in Kedah as they JV with state government to build commercial lot. I was wondering what is the demand like for commercial property in Kedah?

@Phoebe The area which they plan to develop shop lots is newer area of Sg Petani, more atas taman if you will. (think Seremban 2) Nearby there already got franchises like Starbucks,Uniqlo etc.

To be fair, their 190mil net cash position makes the whole property venture less worrying in relation to the profits they make from plastics and F&B segments.

Will see what’s the upcoming QR like before making decision.

I think it’s not unrealistic to achieve 2b revenue given the current revenue trajectory, esp they’re slowing penetrating deeper into the European and US market.

还好不是业绩炸弹，我觉得还可以。抛去2021，2022的红利期，现在营业额跟盈利慢慢爬回上来了，还有股息收很可以。现金增加了50mil，短期债务也减少了。

first time entering TGUAN at 1.75 (9am open price, 22 august 2024). downtrending old school important business that is still profitable (PE below 10) and not sunsetting in foreseeable future. more cash than total liabilities. nice NTA discount. fulfilling well my main criterias for value trading, thanks for the downtrend to provide a good opportunity to entry this counter that previously traded at fair or above fair value at discounted value. and thanks for the recent QR report that attract my attention to this counter that I ignored for long

Perhaps they’ve changed dividend payout to twice yearly. All in all, I’m satisfied with this QR, not expecting for growth next QR as management team said during AGM, just don’t give us deep plunge in top and bottom line will do.
