try compare Malay what they wear

for most Malay ladies, they must cover all the aurat (majority) and only the Malay guys maybe will prefer PADINI

but if u notice most PADINI customers is Chinese

even in Msia largest ethnic is Malay but they fail to capture the market

previously PADINI grow sales and profit is most from open new stores
as now already open until don't where to open already, the grow will be stagnant

also if want go online PADINI, difficult for them to fight
go overseas, they choose Cambodia etc that is bad market, Vinci go Indon also is bad market

overall, prospect is bad for PADINI, it will not be same as before where the profit go up and the share price also up

PADINI will be like BONIA 1 day

Hey, you are going extreme. Let me remind you, language is just a tool to communicate. People tend to use the most efficient way to achieve daily goals everyday. In the long run, that become trend. If you cannot change the trend, why not learn to adapt it? Such as all Malaysians are having Bahasa Melayu as major and mandatory class in primary and secondary school.

Padini is still recovering from its drastic RM5 drop. I believe its fundamentals are intact and Msians still value Padini clothes or Brands Outlets stores highly. Padini's earnings are fairly predictable, not susceptible to volatility, unlike O&G stocks or Plantation stocks.

Dividends frm Padini are nothing to shout about. But consistency beats intensity. Consistent history of dividend payment beats companies that pays huge sums in certain years.

enigmatic, you want good dividend yield, try Taliworks, price now around 90 plus sen, annual dividend of 4.8 sen consistently, better than FD or Padini's yield. Or Maybank also can, consistent annual dividend @ 50 plus sen, now the price is less than rm9. Padini's dividend yield at today's price is about 3.2% only. Padini has got large cash reserves but damned stingy paying dividends. sell and buy Taliworks or Maybank better.

@chanyh, you think the dividend yield too low? and the company's being stingy? Sell the stock lah. Btw, I don't think the company cares too much about attracting investors, it has not done a rights issue or a private placement since its listing and it doesn't look like they need to raise any extra capital anytime soon, so why should they be concerned about attracting investors?

- After a significant drop in shares price on Nov 30, 2019, it unable to recover the reduction in the past 8 months.
- We noticed PADINI shares price traded in consolidation phrase.
- If we are a speculator, we can set an entry point if PADINI shares price traded above EMA 5 or set an entry point at +/- RM3.150 with a clear cut loss +/- 5% below the entry point.
- On the other hand, if we are a dividend investor, we should wait for PADINI shares to reflect a re-bounce and traded above EMA 30 as an entry point.
- RSI/MACD showed bearishly and oversold with a high chance that RSI will dull status so PADINI shares

US-CHINA Trade War market uncertain, local and foreign funds money would not flow in big cap and mid cap stock because everybody scare buy high losses money . In this few month expect Funds manager money would flow out in bigcap and midcap stocks and will short selling midcap stocks for make money so now no prospects cannot buy and hold .
