Pfizer is high effective but need to keep at -71C. Logistic headache. Johnson one no need but a bit lower efficacy. Johnson one easy for logistic and got long shelf life, about 2 years.

Sinovac use ‘inactivated coronavirus method’. In Brazil effective is 50%, in Indonesia 68% and in Turkey 91%. Pfizer n Moderna are around 95%.

Then Sinovac no info on new UK, South Africa n Brazil strain. Johnson vaccine from 96% against original Coronavirus down to 85% against new strains. Novavax is only 50% effective against South Africa strain.

People still waiting for China vaccine to publish all data in proper medical journal.

YTB maybe got chance because SZKT is also manufacturer of vaccine for other people. So if YTB hope to get the supply of other non China formula vaccine then it look better.

AstraZeneca got deal with Shenzhen Kangtai Biological Products to manufacture the vaccine in China.

So many unknown. Fact is 7066 is still speculative. 50:50

i.Msian MoH official was present during d recent signing - looks like some guys purposely spread malicious rumor YT vaccine was rejected by MoH.
ii.Approval to conduct phase 3 will be in place after results of phases 1& 2 submitted to MoH ( 20th Feb).
iii. Then submit to NPRA
iv.New juicy announcement on lucrative venture soon to be announced.

YT should scale new high - not for ST punters

aiya.. you know i know. previously someone said the agreement rejected by China.. then reality is YT signed with China already.. now he comes and say NPRA rejected the application.. we have no idea why this kind of people exist... to spread false news and create fear. for what? it's not like he can buy in millions of units also.. this type of negative people will always mislead the newbies only.

COVID-19 | The National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) has received applications to register three more Covid-19 vaccines for use in the country, said the Health director-general.

Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that the vaccines may also be given conditional registration, which would allow for their quick registration.

"So far three more companies have sent their dossier to the NPRA. These are for the Sinovac, Sputnik V, and Astrazeneca vaccines.

"The NPRA is still conducting tests to see the effectiveness of the vaccines, and if they have side effects. The focus is especially on the vaccines' third phase of clinical trials.

"We have given some feedback so that they can reply and present (to us) for approval. There is a possibility that conditional registration can be given to these vaccines too," he told reporters at a press conference in Putrajaya today.


So far, only one Covid-19 vaccine - developed by Pfizer and BioNTech - has received such conditional approval from the NPRA for use in the country.

Noor Hisham added that conditional registration would allow pharmaceutical companies to submit the latest data they have on a vaccine from time-to-time for evaluation.

He gave the example of a research on Covid-19 vaccines that can be given to individuals aged 12 and above.

"We will see if there is evidence of effectiveness on 12-year-olds and above, and if there are side effects.

"Until we get strong evidence, then only we would recommend vaccine use on the group," he said. - Mkini

Close period means a period whereby the directors or principal officers of the company are not allowed to deal in the company shares because they have obtain price-sensitive information regarding the shares of the company. Example, they know the company is going to take over some companies or being taken over, etc. Heck, even the period before a board meeting is also a close period. The period is 1 month before and after.

Of course, Bursa still allows the directors or principal officers of the company to buy or sell their shares provided they make the necessary announcements to Bursa. So if you see a company where the a lot of the Directors or principal officers are selling or buying shares during close period, you should do the same as well.

Do not confuse close period with off market transactions. Off market transactions is like what was described in the earlier threads
