Beware of those GLC with many warrants especially European style. Ask your friends, how manyl win money from the banker when the warrants expire.

Posted by Pasar_Pagi > 2021-11-22 17:32 | Report Abuse

Can not LU one la..If price rush higher than conversion price, banker will loose money. When you see banker lost in warrants? Avoid those GLC with warrants. Unless Malaysian retialers like Reddit user push to kill bankers, otherwise all are ikan bilis to tuna.

Pharma business is like dksh. Dksh net profit is around 1.4%. Appears to be norm within same industry to have thin margin.

Free warrant like bonus issue, it doesn't help to increase EPS. GAMEOVER shoot up all end up to shoot her own feet. Like all her betting in other counters all free fall like no tomorrow. Who want to listen advise from a looser who lost in whatever counter she call in. Gameover.

Guess, it must be the profit margins.

Godofgambler works hard for the money, she works hard for the money....every day under hot sun and heavy rain, selling goreng pisang.

After 3 months (QR), she happily counted her cash and found to have collected over RM2,130......and after deducting all cost, rent and raw materials....she was seen clutching and clenching her fist with only RM50........and tears rolling down her cheeks....

Haha Gameover I doubt you can read. Really good news extract from your news link:

For recipients of CoronaVac, the booster dose would be given three months after the second dose. They are recommended to receive a Comirnaty (Pfizer) booster dose for all levels or the AstraZeneca vaccine for individuals aged 50 and above.

@miqie21,...thanks for the News update. Good piece.

Also note those words from CDC, Dr Fauci. Most are calming fear and not to panic, as more Data and testing within 2 weeks would reveal.

Sadly, a medical professional spoke to Press about "Preparing for the worst", as if your relative is in ICU and you need to prepare for the patient's final rites....hahahaha. The disparity of knowledge and mindset is obviously out of this world. Malaysia-ku is heading backwards instead of moving with the rest of civilization.

Better chosen words would be, to "stay vigilant, start acting and contain" as most countries are already executing SOPs ahead of WHO instructions. Malaysian mentality is to pray to God and just wait to follow the majority........so sad.

As for this Omicron Covid variant......presumably more infectious/contagious but how deadly/lethal is yet unknown. Basically more predominant in South African, with only 30% of population vaccinated. (Incidentally, those infect with Omi were not vaccinated)

The variant has a high number of mutations, about 50 overall, with more than 30 of the mutations were found in the spike protein -- the structure the virus uses to get into the cells they attack. Further to the receptor binding domain (that's the part of the virus that makes first contact with our body's cells), it has 10 mutations compared to just two for the Delta variant.

Remembering the initial Alpha variant that started the pandemic, then Beta, which was said to be more infectious, and went out like air from a balloon? Then Gamma and and now Delta, there are already thousands of variants but why wasn't things getting worse and yet more countries on Recovery mode? Right now, they need at least 2-3 weeks to evaluate how deadly is Omi but the Big Pharma are already on alert to manufacture an alternate vaccine within weeks should the need arises.

2 cases showed up in UK, and their PM has ordered border closures to certain countries, wear masks, social distancing and most importantly Booster. It's clear that Booster is required to increase efficacy, regardless of ones' immunity. USA is also closing borders to numerous countries, subject to more details on Omi.

Omi may be 10x more contagious than Delta, but the underlining advantage of vaccination (with good efficacy) would most likely stave off sever illness, even death.

Stay safe, and be well.....even stay home is better.

Cheers!

With super fine profit margins on Vaccines, yet there would be more bank interest to consider? Is this viable business module? Borrowing for trade churning less than 2.6%..?? And on top of that, the heavy gearing for high volume turnover to earn peanuts won't be placing on higher trading risks?

How much margin would be left after bank interest?

Why do you think their profit margin will be low?

@21,...probably you've missed our earlier posts? Revenue in past QR over 2 Billion and PBT at 4.6%, NP at 2.35%......that's how fine.

Go try previous QR and see the margins to re-confirm...heheheheh

Most businesses with razor fine margin on Sale of goods cannot withstand or afford to lose even 1 shipment, or else they need 42.55 future shipments just to cover their cost lost on 1 load, at this margin...(2.35 x 42.55 = 99.9925)

Hahahaha....did you compare the EPS and NP to shareholders? What is the NOSH of DKSH....158 million? What is NOSH of Pharma....1,309 million? Isn't that 10x????

And what about their Balance Sheets? Gearing Ratios?

Did you also know the business module of DKSH? What is their line of business? Do they hold inventories with payments?
