The high cash position of Lii Hen would help buffer the company from this economic downturn. It's a good time to look into the business as it may be offering at a discount. Moreover, Lii Hen boast one of the highest profit margins in the industry with a 25% market share in the furniture exports. https://focusinvesting484855354.wordpress.com/2020/04/26/lii-hen-vs-homeritz/
Furniture market would be affected in the near term but long term, the market will still be heading forward. It just depends on the price we pay for the investment.
High cash alone is already good enough for survival. Survival is the most important now. If you cant survive, any meaning to stretch further talking about sales?
If furniture distributors/sellers can make way channeling more sales via on line, I think our Malaysia manufacturers should be doing fine. What should be focused, is to create products that suit customer need.
