Philip said Liihen is a value trap. Lets say somebody read his comment and his article, agreed with him, sold Liihen and bought the stock he promoted, QL, at the closing price of that day 29/5/2020.
QL 29/5/2020 price RM10.12, today price RM9.20, lost 9.1%
Liihen 29/5/2020 price RM2.18, today price RM2.38, earn 9.2%
To be fair, fluctuation in a week or two doesn't mean much, but I think Liihen will still beat QL on 29/5/2021.

Those who bought Liihen shares before Covid19 and MCO will see it as value trap.
Those who bought during MCO when the price was as low as rm2, now enjoy the ride.

Business prospect is everything. As long as they keep doing good business and sharing their profits by dividend, there is little to worry about.

LIIHEN is among the few gems company that can still maintain profit increase a little

not making loss is good already, and making higher profit year on year (before MCO and during MCO)

After adjusting for gain/ loss of forex, derivative and PPE disposal, profit before tax for 2020Q1 is about the same as 2019Q1. However I agree it's a commendable result.

Quarterly dividend is reduced from 3.5 cent to 2.5 cent, reversing the previous trend of increasing dividend. Quarterly paytout ratio is reduced to 23%. But I think it's fair that the management wants to be conservative around this time.

The final dividend for FYE2018 was paid on 19/7/2019 whereas the 1st Interim dividend for FY2019 was paid on 27/6/2019. For 2020, 1st interim dividend to be paid on 24/7/20. i am still looking for final dividend 0f 2019 to be announced. pls note notice of AGM to pass AR2019 is still not out!
