I remember this in year 2020 after buying Supermax at Rm1.73

One guy from Puchong called

"Did you buy Supermax?"

I replied, "Yes i did"

Then he said, "Since Supermax is Rm4.00 you better sell and buy back when price retrace"

I was reluctant to sell

Then he called again when Supermax reached Rm5.00 (in year 2020)

"Have you taken profit?"
If not you must sell now at Rm5.00"

I asked him, " Why should i sell now"?

He said, "You must listen to me. Sell Supermax at Rm5.00 and then buy back cheaper as price will drop back"

He kept insisting i must sell

I told him since i don't have too many Supermax shares i will hold.

And i was right. No chance of pullback after Directors/Insiders of Supermax also started buying at Rm7.50 & Rm7.75

Then Supermax rose above Rm10.00 and higher

So in a bull market the best thing to do is to buy and sit still

We are mildly positive on the proposed exercises. The proposed bonus issue serves to reward the existing shareholders for their continued support to Supermax. In addition, the proposed bonus issue would likely increase the share liquidity further.

Meanwhile, the free warrants would allow shareholders to further increase their equity participation in Supermax and benefit from any potential capital appreciation arising from the exercise of the warrants.

Impact
No change to our FY25-27 forecast, pending completion of the exercises.

Valuation
Maintain Buy on the stock with a TP of RM1.37 based on 0.8x FY26 P/B.
