The Ministry of Science & Technology and Ministry of Health is task with the procurement and selection of the vaccine. An additional budget of 2 Billion allocation was targeted by MOF to be table in the Budget 2021 on 6 November.

A lot of political factors in play. I agree with the point on the budget. It is a vital factor in ensuring the continuity of the government machinery and allocation for covid-19. Imo, if the budget doesn't pass entirely due to political reasons, we should reconsider the credibility of the current "opposition".

Reuters Diterbitkan Hari ini 11:52 am

Singapura menghentikan sementara penggunaan dua vaksin influenza sebagai langkah berjaga susulan dua kematian yang dilaporkan di Korea Selatan akibat penggunaan vaksin berkenaan.

Korea Selatan melaporkan bahawa 48 meninggal dunia pada Sabtu lalu setelah menerima suntikan selesema, tetapi berkata, ia akan meneruskan program vaksinasi yang dikendalikan oleh negara itu kerana pihak berkuasa tidak menemukan kaitan langsung antara kematian dan suntikan tersebut.

Tidak ada kematian dilaporkan membabitkan vaksinasi influenza dilaporkan di Singapura setakat ini, tetapi keputusan untuk menghentikan penggunaan SKYCellflu Quadrivalent dan VaxigripTetra adalah sebagai langkah berjaga-jaga, kata Kementerian Kesihatan Singapaura (HSA) dalam satu kenyataan pada lewat Ahad.

HSA sudah juga berhubung dengan pihak berkuasa Korea Selatan untuk maklumat lanjut, susulan mereka menyiasat kes itu bagi menentukan kaitan dengan vaksin influenza itu.

SKYCellflu Quadrivalen dikeluarkan oleh SK Bioscience dan diedarkan AJ Biologics; serta VaxigripTetra, dihasilkan Sanofi Pasteur dan diedarkan Sanofi Aventis.
