there is also a speculative element - on 15 Feb 2017, Court will makes decision on their case against Umobile. Comcorp has already won the case. Now pending final judgement. If successful, will get RM11 mil compensation

comcorp's biggest risk is Trump because it exports entirely to US. However, two weeks into presidency, it is clear that protectionism, if any, will not happen so quickly. Trump has already said that he wants to start with NAFTA first. And the latest news is that according to procedure, the earliest they can start renegotiation with Mexico is May 2017. After that, it will take at least few months to half a year to firm things up. Only after that will Trump has time to pay attention to other economies, including Malaysia.

This means that Comcorp will not face any nasty surprise for at least 6 months. That will buy sufficient time for one round of play based on strong earnings and the impending Court victory. Comcorp reported EPS of 3.5 sen in previous Q when USD was 4.10. With USD now at more than 4.40, January quarter EPS (to be released by end March 2017) should be super good.

RM1.10 within 3 months not impossible

I bought 200k yesterday at .875. Sailing all my gains from gadang and gtronic. I believe I will make big again this time. I bought gadang at 2.10(b4 split) level when many seemed pessimistic on it. And bought GTronic at below 3.30 when everyone talked bad abt it. And this time, my feel tells me that Comcorp will touch at least 1.20 in 3 mths time.
