Wow, this thread is quite crowded today. The goreng master is really fierce. It spikes up both in terms of price and vol to close at 86 sen.

The next 1 or 2 days can be interesting as profit-taking(either scenario 1 or 2) may take place, depending on the goreng master's game plan. I might be tempted to take profit first as I have hit my profit target.

I believe I have done my part well and I have not misled you guys with my postings so far. Anyway, the old man and VenFx are back to offer their guidance. I may pop in only occasionally.

John1234 I like the current price movement. Small vol traded with an upward bias. Once the vol explodes, 1 of the 2 things could happen:
1. The operator invites punters/investors to trade the price higher;
2. The operator will distribute his shares when the price spikes up a lot, like in the previous case.

We can only tell whether it is scenario 1 or 2 on hindsight. So, it is usually safer to buy on small vol traded.

Just my humble views.

John1234 In the past few quarters, share price was "pushed up" by the operator before result release, resulting in a "gap down" on contra selling pressure when quarterly result was announced. This is why I said it is a "goreng" counter.

This time round, share price has already fallen before result release, plus only a small quantity traded, not much contra selling is expected. Any gap down, if initiated by the operator in this quiet market, could well be a buying opportunity, in view of the "imminent" finalisation of the proposed disposal(if implemented) and a potential CNY rally in the making.

My personal feeling . Anything move up too fast ... Will turn back down very fast .

If the counter still goreng2 slowly moving up trend , say 2.50c . It 'll maintain long term pattern between 2.00c - 2.80c formatted as island patterns chart ...

When can proposed distribution (special cash dividend) be fully paid out??

Proposed special dividend = 63M or RM 0.45/share

Circular to shareholders say,
- The actual amount of dividend to be distributed will be determined at a later stage
- The quantum of special cash dividend to be declared is dependent on the availability of sufficient distributable profit..

Upon completion of disposal,
- Other & retained profit = 35.4 M , only enough to pay dividend of RM 0.25/share

So does it mean that full dividend of RM 0.45 will be paid over a period of time ?? any capital reduction exercise ?? Final /actual dividend no more than RM 0.25/share ??

To await further announcement by the company
