Strange... How Mr. Yong could buy 1M shares at 7.5% discount on the prevailing market prices... When he sold all his warrants, he also sold at big discount from the market prices...
Anyway, the major shareholders are loading up more shares, what does that mean to us? I see good signs written on the wall... :)
You monitor Tomypak's announcement in another 2 to 3 days, you should then see there would be at least a total of 3.75 million instead of 1 million shares acquired by Yong in this week
Flood season is here, we sincerely sorry for those who forced to evacuate to safe centers and disrupted daily lives. Hopefully the packaged food and necessity will be delivered to the centre.
@3A0012, Mr. Lim being the MD is entitled to a substantial amount of company's ESOS shares reserved for key personnel at certain fixed prices, usually discounted from market prices. He can increase his shares by exercising his options later when the time is right for him, so for now he just focus on growing the company's business...
Largest shareholders holder of Tomypak is Mr Yong, followed by Mr Lim and Mr Chairman up-to-date. Tomypak has offer new ESOS around 5 million+++ share unit at 2017Q3.
@R40s, shouldn't be. Exercise of ESOS will have an "Additional Listing Announcement". Mr Yong should be acquired 1 million of share through DBT or buy from other seller outside open market at RM 0.873 on 14/9/2017.
@pc_FA, from current low trading volume moving average and obviously no new catalyst, especially for tomypak may not have so much surprise news de, can we safely presume, counter share price continues stay flat or perhaps edge lower until the nxt q report? whats ur observations for this ?
Initially I thought Yong was buying 3.4 million shares @ 87.3 sen, as I had seen the direction business transaction (DBT) were done over the past few days:
1. 1.25 million shares @ 87.3 sen (14/9/2017) (sold/bought by who??) 2. 1 million shares @ 87.3 sen (14/9/2017) --> Yong bought 3. 1.5 million shares @ 87.3 sen (15/9/2017) (sold/bought by who??) 4. 1 million shares @ 95 sen (19/9/2017) --> Yong sold 5. 0.4 million shares @ 95 sen (19/9/2017) --> Yong sold 6. 1 million shares @ 95 sen (19/9/2017) --> Yong sold
Looks like 2, 4, 5 & 6 were related to Yong's transaction
@hero666, sorry for late reply. Away for long holiday break :) For share price, it is quite objective. Assume eps for 2017 is 0.06. PE range from 10-30 and the share price will range from 0.60-1.80 accordingly. The share price is depend how Mr Market reflect the company performance. However I believe and confident regarding the growth of plastic packaging industry and tomypak expansion plan. If it drop further, I will just top up. If it up further, I will just hold.
As long as the business is grow, I won't sell my existing holding share unit (regardless up/down of share price).
34.78% of ESOS Options offered (at RM 0.58) has been listing, left 90,000 units; 97.37% of ESOS Options offered (at RM 0.60) has been listing, left 106,038 units; 0.00% of ESOS Options offered (at RM 0.87) has been listing, left 5,130,000 units;
CIMB analyst is always pessimistic on Tomypak's prospects, he keep revising down Tomypak's fair value, no matter how they performed or expanded. When Tomypak reported better results, he doubted their NPM was too high. When Tomypak built a new factory, he doubted the new capacity can be digested.
Kenanga analyst is conservative, he keep maintaining Tomypak's fair value at neutral, he won't change his valuation until he see Tomypak's earnings gone up high.
Finally we see Maybank analyst give an optimistic report that acknowledged Tomypak's earnings boost with their new capacities increasing at 6,000 tpa in 2017(phase-1), 6,000 tpa in 2018(phase-2) and 7,000 tpa in 2019(phase-3), or 38,000 tpa total capacity, versus 19,000 tpa old capacity.
The Maybank analyst report is inline with our earlier expectations. They forecast earnings to grow at a healthy 17.6% 3-year CAGR, assuming base price of Rm1.00 just after share bonus/split, then the target price should be Rm1.18 (end-2017), Rm1.39 (end-2018) and Rm1.64 (end-2019) respectively according to the CAGR forecasted.
It means the Company feel that their shares is worth more than 95sen, they buy and keep, to sell at a profit later, like what they did few months ago...
@hero666 , Tomypak Company has at the Twenty Second Annual General Meeting held on 18 May 2017 obtained its shareholders’ approval for the Company to purchase up to ten percent (10%) of the total number of issued shares of the Company for the time being on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
