Yinson's 2nd Q result which shall be out by this month-end. Splendid achievement for Yinson as current mkt cap hits RM3.5b. I'm still holding to my investment in Yinson. Looking forward to Yinson for bringing investors more value and appreciation!

armada have a lot contract from Russia. now oil price down. Russia suffer most.

Yinson eyes Gulf of Mexico market


Integrated offshore services provider Yinson Holdings Bhd (YHB) wants to be more actively involved in the Gulf of Mexico, said group chief executive officer Lim Chern Yuan.

"The Gulf of Mexico is expected to see more oil and gas activities in the coming years, and we are very interested in it.

With an established presence in the oil and gas services industry in West Africa and Asia having opened offices in Nigeria, Gabon and Vietnam, plans to open more offices in Africa.

One of the reasons behind the acquisition of Fred Olsen Production ASA last year was to strengthen our presence in West Africa besides our operations in Asia.

On EGM, Lim said the company had agreed to offload 50% of its stake in Nautipa AS for RM187.39mil to BW Offshore, which owns the remaining 50%.Yinson Holdings is expected to rake in a profit of RM78.11mil from the sale of its stake in Nautipa AS, with the proceeds to be used as working capital and for loan repayment.

云升获中东FPSO 租约 未来营收或翻倍


（吉隆坡6日讯）消息指出，云升控股（YINSON，7293，主板贸服股）即将落实与中东公司的浮式生产储卸油轮（FPSO）租约，未来营收可能因此翻倍！



云升控股目前拥有5艘FPSO，皆已出租给第三方，消息人士因此猜测，可能会将新购入的“Ulriken”大型油轮，转换成FPSO出租给中东公司。

Ulriken建于1998年，可运输高达200万桶油。

全球排名第6大 !

该公司数周前与英国Golden State Petroleum公司签署备忘录，购买上述船只，但未透露交易细节，仅表示为配合深海和岸外生产业务。

自从收购挪威公司Fred Olsen Production ASA后，云升控股如今已是全球第6大浮式生产储卸油轮（FPSO），排在拥有7艘FPSO的布米阿马达（ARMADA，5210，主板贸服股）之后。

目前旗下共5艘FPSO，订单接近80亿令吉 !

This one-year extension up to Oct 2015, worth USD39m
reflects a 9% improvement in dayrate.

The contract extension is
favourable to Yinson for it has successfully negotiated for a higher
all-in dayrate of USD107k (+USD10k) when compared against its
previous firm contract period. While this extension is for a year,
we reckon subsequent seven extensions (of up to Oct 2022) will
likely be exercised, considering the field’s high reserves and
production levels (50k bpd).
