This contract extension as well as the sale of Yinson’s 50%-owned
Petroleo Nautipa validates Yinson’s purchase of Fred Olsen
Production (FOP) as it has created values along the way. While the
contract extension is on improved terms, the latter was sold to BW
Offshore at a higher value than Yinson’s initial cost.

Winning an FPSO contract outside Vietnam would fully endorse the
M&A of FOP. The outcome of the Ghana FPSO project would likely
be known by end-2014. Bagging the Ghana job would significantly
be earnings accretive (NP: MYR150m p.a.) and lift our MYR3.03 TP.

Catalysts for the group stems from additional FPSO
contracts which the group is currently bidding in West
Africa and Southeast Asia. Management indicated that
the result of a large FPSO tender is likely to be revealed
by the end of the year while the small to mid-sized
projects would be known next year.

The FPSO is likely earmarked for the Sankofa-Gye Nyame
field under the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP)
licence at offshore Ghana, which was being bid for by
Yinson, Tokyo-based Modec, and Bumi Armada.

why oil price drop will affect Yinson? Most of the income is come from rental and commodities trading such as iron ore, scrap metal and building materials such as sand, cement, steel bars, bricks and granite. Offshore support service only very little and less than 5% . The trend still does not drop like MHB and SKPETRO. Correct me if I'm wrong. Why die? LOL

Actually I do not have a particular target on this stock as long as the business is doing great and keep getting more and more project to increase the recurring income for the company then i'm pretty happy about it but such a rally in shorter time, would expect some profit taking and also some people might chase high and speculate about the contract winning news. Just stay invested and see the fruit grow. Have a great day

Think of of it at this price level if say to be a good invest is it really good ? 2014 dividend only 1.25c for a 50c share market price at that time about RM3.00 = every RM1000 invest at YINSON get only RM 4.16. 2012 and before dividend was 2.5c share price was about RM 2.20 , mean every RM1000.00 invest at YINSON can get RM11.40. so which is better ?
If take it as a shares capital gain investment last time it paid up only about 188million shares now it paid up is 1032 million shares so is it easy to push up any more ?
After get money from share holder will their earning increase ? to give share holders better dividend ?

Latest info about Armada, Hope YINSON up up

Armada business model is not sustainable.
FPSO sectors mainly depends get job in a much lower price. This will end up all projects will lose money in the end. In addition, the engineering capability is nothing compare to market leader.
CEO HB trusted management team are not sound and capable enough to support HB’s ambitious. Key personnel’s in the team have their own agenda in other close related company in India etc. they use armada as a platform to growing those company.
This team fail projects made armada profit keep drop for four quarters. These trends will continue. No surprise if see red in Q4 2014 or Q1 2015.
Finally, all report need pass audit. Play with account digital by postpone reporting loss will not last further.
In addition, Serious problem on OSV, T$I and too much rely on Russian in Caspian Sea area.
New business sector like Oil field service, Marginal field development so far no project at all. With PETRONAS cut CAPEX. These sectors confirm gone.
Armada indeed full of hidden problem. What will be the impact in final report 2014 after consider the engineering mistake, delay, cost overrun, penalty from client and etc. for armada Claire , armada sterling II cluster 7(C7) and etc.? Note armada still not able to come out a solution for C7 mooring under design issue. To make things worse, now the turret mooring system design problem cause hook up problem and damaged some part of system at offshore India. Its almost 2 months on site still cannot hook up. 3 mooring line broken.

this A-team like a company killer. want to move to Yinson after kill armada and made CEO step down!
pity CEO brought in this A-team which made project fail one after another.
now C7 mooring line broken, riser damage....
turret mooring under design still no solution....
ONGC not accept this C7....

Q4 will be red....

If Yinson boss want to die or CEO want to step down just go ahead take over A-team from armada.

hahaha....

Remember how prosafe production closed down 2010.
same reason killed by such kind of A-team.

Yin Son is set to announce their very first FPSO OCTP, Ghana Project. It will be a good start and I strongly believe that the Management is committed for a good productive project ahead. Looking at their parent company track record with 30 years plus in business is a good sign ahead.
