if price of Yinson during the share split is RM8, does it means RM8 + RM2.20 (right issue 1 for 1) = RM10.20 and divided by 4, which will be RM2.55 for each? wonder if Yinson will drop further.

yup worth it. Company still very profitable, just slower growth compared to last year. At least another 15-20% conservatively until the end of this year

faiz, right coming out at 2.20, listing on 19/5 starting at RM2.90.. Closing on 12/5 is RM8.00, right at RM2.20 divide by two RM5.10, opening today.

Lamkm87,u will entitle to 100 units of yin son rights.if u wish to subsrice so,u need to pay rm2.20 x 100 units =rm220.Or else you could sell the rights (yinson-or) when it starts trading next week.

thanks Livinia and lamkm87, it's very well explained. understood that and now looking fwd to topup my investment for this counter!! my broker said if you're entitled, you can also do it online as an alternative if you dont get the hardcopy of the forms. i'll update it here once i got the info later!!

my dealer told me he can do it for me and I dont need to download any forms. however, when will the right issues be completed? If for those who bough at RM8.00 and would like to sell now, what will be the selling price? if they do not want to exercise rights? hopefully can get some insights here. thx!

If buy the YINSON-OR rights issue at 2.52, then exercise the rights need to add more 2.20 , the total is 252+220=470RM, am I wrong?

drop cause a bit overvalued la. simply states, after rights issue discount, price is too high to sustain. Will be normal for many people to sell if off and will take some time to stabilize as this stock already reached its fair value 2-3 months ago. After a while will slowly go up again. This company is quite in debt ma..don't expect it to fly all. You want a stock that can maybe fly a lot, pick Uzma.
