It's got to do with Dato Lim Chee Wah's commitment to the the Chinese govt in helping them win the Winter Olympics 2022 bid and the Genting Secret Garden is going to the the major site for the international games. Meaning to say, this project cannot fail. As Bone Gor had said, they will have to get all the funding in place for this billion dollars project. AND dataprep is the only public listed vehicle owned by LCW to inject these assets. In another words, this could be the backdoor listing for the mega Genting Secret Garden slated for the Winter Olympics 2022.

They have to date invested one billion into this resort already and it's two third away from the complete resort to hold the Winter Olympics which is just 5 years away and they have to put all the construction of the infrastructure in place now already and that needs money. So the fund raising would be now, and for that to happen, they would have to put all the corporate finance work in place at this very moment.
