（吉隆坡29日讯）马股低开高走，因投资者消化了隔夜美国股市的外溢效应。

交易员表示，美国股市和政府债券价格昨日上涨，此前美联储在最近一次会议上承认美国经济有所改善，但选择保持当前的政策立场不变。

截至早上9时05分，富时隆综指扬2.37点，至1517.76点，昨日收于1515.39点。

富时隆综指低开0.42点，报1514.97点。

上升股210只，下跌股141只，236只无起落，1634只无交易及80只暂停交易。

总成交量为2亿4591万股，总值1亿403万令吉。

马六甲证券私人有限公司表示，受临尾趁低吸纳活动提振，富时隆综指昨日小幅收高，但新冠肺炎确诊病例及近期政治发展限制了涨势。

“尽管巴生谷加速筛检速度，导致每日确诊病例持续攀升，但我们预计疫苗接种率应该会消除负面情绪，交易员可能会寻找复苏机会。”

“此外，恒生期货和隔夜华尔街可能出现技术性反弹，并可能外溢至本地股市，尤其是科技股。”

大宗商品方面，由于印度和中国的需求放缓，原棕油价格下跌，而原油价格继续上涨。

马银行（Malayan Banking Bhd）升2仙，至8.06令吉，大众银行（Public Bank Bhd）扬1仙，报4.02令吉，国油化学（Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd）跌2仙，至7.97令吉，国家能源（Tenaga Nasional Bhd）及IHH医疗保健（IHH Healthcare Bhd）分别持平于9.78令吉和5.80令吉。

热门股方面，康尔国际（Kanger International Bhd）涨1仙，至7仙，登高控股（Tanco Holdings Bhd）增1.5仙，报18仙，华大工业（Hwa Tai Industries Bhd）起9仙，至1.16令吉，Sasbadi Holdings Bhd和MAG控股（MAG Holdings Bhd）各涨0.5仙，分别报22仙及19.5仙。

富时全股项指数升22.87点，报11,115.09点，富时100指数增21.16点，至10,820.22点，以及富时大马70中型股指数扬45.05点，报14,604.02点。

富时回教教义指数升15.29点，报12,212.88点，但创业板指数挫0.25点，至7239.93点。

金融服务指数涨66.31点，报14,861.65点，种植指数扬9.60点，报6179.62点，以及工业产品及服务指数挫0.09点，至187.93点。

The more people won't believe there more uptrend is coming. I feel until the end of the year HwaTai is RM 5 - RM 7. This is stock market psychology. 2021 is a pure speculation trading year. Until our political stability then you can see the fundamental stocks rally

Hwatai founder two sons who started Munchy Biscuit company in 1991 with little capital from his father who owns Hwatai, have just sold their unlisted Munchy Biscuit at $1.1 b to an Investment Fund based in London called CVC Capital in 2018 , one yr before our World was "shot" down with terrible Covid-19 Pandemic !!!
His timing is superb and armed with cash near $1b, will very likely, come back to help or manage his father business in Hwatai !!! With their excellent entreprenuer skill, they will turn Hwatai into a dynamic company in klse..
So, will Hwatai share price return back to 50 ct or $200 in those crazy day of yr 1997 ?????

Above Kingfisher comment is not correct. Munchy's founder s' surname is Tan and current owners are the Soo family. Totally different.

Tan's father is indeed the one who founded Hwatai but has sold all his shares back in 1996.

The only logical thesis is that Tan side may buy over Hwatai from Soo
