You need to know why company intention. Actually compsny intention is want people to exercise their share to get more fund. If they no need that fund. They can doing share buy back when needed. So your statement is not very correct. Salcon maybe tomorrow will be rebound as big investor still inside

These buyers with deep pockets, 1+75= 76 vs mother share 77, there's still 1 sen discount and the profit will be quite substantial if buy in big volume

Big question what is the value of this stock post-china sale, I read some where they will have net cash of RM284m, and assume the 100m warrants exercised, company will have outstanding shares of 622m, that is RM0.45 of the share price now is cash, am I right ?

KUALA LUMPUR: Its all systems go for the much-awaited Langat 2 Water treatment plant and water reticulation system in Selangor with the awarding of the RM993.88mil contract.

Salcon Bhd said on Thursday its joint venture with MMC Corporation Bhd and Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB) had received the letter of acceptance from Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd.

Salcon has a 36% stake in the JV, MMC 34% and AZRB 30%.

The contract involves building the 1,130 million litres per day water treatment plant and water reticulation system in Selangor under phase one

“The project is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of Salcon Group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017,” said Salcon.

KOTA KINABALU (Apr 22): Talks on restructuring the Selangor water industry have reached
the final stage, said Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water Datuk Seri Maximus
Ongkili.
He said once the Selangor state government and the four companies involved signed the
memorandum of understanding (MOU), the Langat 2 water treatment plant project and its
distribution system (LRAL2) would begin.
"After the MOU is signed, the LRAL2 project would begin from the water treatment plant to
retention pond and distribution.
"This is a long-term preparation plan. Negotiations have been delayed for quite sometime
now," he told reporters after opening the new Sustainable Energy Development Authority's
office here today.
Under the MOU the Selangor government signed with the federal government on Feb 26,
2014, the federal government was allowed to plan the construction of LRAL2 project in the
state.
In addition, the federal government has agreed to help the state government acquire the
water concessionaires and allow the state to manage its own water supply service through a
state-owned company.
The water consessionaires are Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor, Puncak Niaga Sdn Bhd,
Konsortium Abbas Sdn Bhd and Syarikat Pengeluar Air Selangor Holdings Bhd.
