Loaded some at 1.42 :D, JTiasa, Taan, FLBHD are timber stocks, all profit up due to the very same reason

1. Strong USD vs MYR, especially for the past few months when USD soar a lot due to QE tapering
2. Plywood price improve and hence profit margin better.
3. furthermore, there is land disposal which may improve its Cash n Bank balance from 70mil + to 200mil+ ( But dunno when they can receive the proceed of the disposal )

Eksons last year same quarter EPS only 1.9 cents, this year Q3 should be easily better than last yr Q3.

Just my 2 cents :)

Means the state authority had consented for the land to be transferred from the vendor to the purchaser. If the consent to transfer had been obtained, the next course of action is the payment from the purchaser to the vendor.

If purchaser pay cash, then it will be very fast.

If purchaser is taking a loan with the land as charge, then the title will be charged to the purchaser financier and the balance sum to be released.

Either way, good development.
