also, maybe because the world bank lowering growth for malaysia economy, that's why mkt behaving like this. but i am still believe that it will be once more in the spotlight if the quarter report later excellent... people dont know where to trade, so they are looking for strong performance company...

but to open the economy as usual, i think will not helping much if the cases keep on surging. i am still believe a proper total lockdown as the first mco will help. it might not have to be that long as before if the true enforcement to be place right now.

@OTB, agreed with you. However, KLCI is very bearish due to the "lose hope" fear. Best strategy is to get the prospective, and theme driven sector on bargain and hold for the coming years. I also see steel and aluminium for the coming big theme. Inflation plus recovery driven by massive infrastructure, can take bloomberg commodity index as reference, clearly we are still in the early stage.

But noticed that the operating profit decrease, meaning higher cost incurred actually. Something to take note is that the increment of net profit is derived from higher Other Income, which is believed to be reversal of impairment (one off practice). I’m a holder of this stock, but I’m not so happy with this qr. Appreciate if someone could further elaborate on this.

yes it is not a miracle result but it is still very2 good, many people say here before lbalum this QR results will be down for so many reasons and still it is at least "stable" at these already elevated levels, I am happy with these results. The reversal of impairment they mention it there in report ...

#milosh, we don't really need a miracle result and LB had delivered a PRACTICAL result thru out Fy2021.

Practical in the sense of stability and predictable yet a huge leap if to compare yoy.

Practical in term of wealth sharing with minority too.

LB - 2.5 cents coming soon
PMBTECH - 1.0
PA - 0.5
ALCOM - 0 to date
PRESTAR - 1.0
ASTINO - 1.5
TOMEI - 2.0

Remember, during this hardest time lb had delivered a whooping RM41. 8 millions which is PROFIT AFTER TAX.

For naysayers, u are welcome to suggest any stocks listed in bursa that u think better than OUR lb. I can proudly say lb is within 20% best of the best.

Lastly, thanks for everyone in LB Aluminium on behalf of every shareholders.

PMETAL : 15.42
LB : 12.55

Lb management is very prudent, affective and efficient in managing our capital.

ROE is rate of return 4 every ringgit we invested.

Yesterday aluminium future break its 52w High.
After slight correction probably due to artificial suppression from China, price cont to increase.

China can't suppress indefinitely as smart traders will wallop whatever deem cheaper.

What exite me is I am assure that the DEMAND for aluminium product increases day by day.

This benefit upstream and downstream Al industries besides some upward asp increase.
