Desa, it looks like you have a strategy during these times. Ckwan11d is not wrong but as long as you already have a strategy, you'll do fine.

Based on your comments, I think that you might have bought some of these stocks at a high and feeling the pressure right now. However, you must also understand that you bought these good quality stocks that will improve in due time I don't know when.

Sold 4.76. Yes fool like me never learn. Can't stand losses, so better to cut off, rather than suffer more losses. Also suffer big loss in Shell. But happy with Apollo, Magni, Top Glove, Supermax, Padini. Overall, more winners than losers. Must be more careful next time.

Shell bot at 5.86. Sold at 3.48 sometime back. If I didn't cut loss, today it is 3.03. Must not be afraid to cut off losers. Get back some cash and go fight again. Life in stock market is like that. We are at war with MR Market.

Yes, I agree with you. Nobody lies to lose. But my experience tells the hardest thing to do is to cut loss. It is our pride and ego that prevents us form doing so. Cut loss we must if we are forced to. Luckily, I buy cash and not margin.

It is nothing wrong with trading on margin IF you know how to leverage your scarce capital and understanding your calculated risks and expected returns on borrowed sum.
