The Board of HWGB wishes to announce that the Company has on 13 May 2020 received a notice from the Offeror as well as the Ultimate Offerors, through M&A Securities Sdn Bhd, informing that the Offeror has further revised the cash offer price for the Offer Shares from RM0.140 to RM0.205 per Offer Share (“Revised Offer Price”) whilst the cash offer price for Offer Warrants remained at RM0.01 per Offer Warrant (“Revised Offer”) (“Revised Notice”).
From the announcement, HWGB mentioned that they wish to maintain HWGB's listing status. To do so, they at most will acquire 75% of share (which they still need to acquire 25% more) to maintain at least 25% of public spread. HWGB knows the actual value of the share is far exceed current price, and the increase of their shareholding, will make them easier to push up the price (if they own 75% of shareholding).
