Plywood price has been rising since last quater. If the u.s. currency maintain high, i expect good quater result for 4q16. 3q16 result should be out soon.

Those who are not confident with the company, feel free to sell now.
To me, Flbhd is a wonderful company. High ROIC, Narrow Moats, High FCF. Few quarter of bad results does not affect my view on this.

@tksw - The theory of investing is a simple one.

Think investing like buying something you like, for example, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari. When it gets a price cut or discount, you should be more happier.

When you apply to it stocks, when it drops more, you should like it even better, not the other way round, you are doing it wrong lol.

Be a contrarian. Be fearful when others is greedy, be greedy when others is fearful.

I don't think it will be based on upcoming Q result.

But it is common sense it will do very well on Feb report (Oct, Nov, Dec) since USD linger from 4.2-4.4 at this period.

TKSW, looked at last quarter result, FLB no longer hold the cash. They have invested in other areas ( unknown, as no further explain). Cash on hand has drop to 14 millions from all time high 72 millions. I hope management has done a proper research and assessment to protect the interest of minor shareholders.

Raider special advise for potential FLB investors loh....!!

Flb had been shakeout and consolidated by kyy sales and former FLB managing director sales loh...!!

It is very stable now after the big selloff.....and would not have much big resistance when go up loh.....!!

Of course the coming qtr result may not be better than previous yr corresponding qtr....but most important thing to note....is FLB is around rm 3.00 previously, but now it is rm 1.70 now....it had already corrected alot mah....!!

The business prospect is improving, also strong cashflow and strong usd will lend support to FLB upthrust loh....!!

So if u R eyeing FLB pls don get into a situation u R short of the stock...when it moves upward quickly due to better fundamental loh..!!

Btw FLB cash in hand should be read together with other investment loh...!!
Other Investment is actually cash....it is money market cash fund and trust placement mah....!!
FLB still got more than Rm 80 million cash and its equivalent as at 30-6-2016 mah....!!

Yes, the other investments is actually investment in money market fund. I have clarify personally with the management it's actually have same risks with fixed deposit in the market. you can refer to page 75 of annual report 2015

see their recent cash generated from operation compared to previous quarters and you will have clear picture. Why management putting money in market fund rather reinvest into their machinery and factory which can further improve their operation efficiency? Final decision is up to you.
