Nasdaq is highly dependent on Fed interest rate policy and Quantity Easing/Tightening unless having a wishful assumption of Inari is able to standalone independently from the Nasdaq movement.

On Jan 2022, EPF has 6.1% shareholdings, today 8.35%.

Following Kenanga Research’s recent visit to Inari’s production facility, the research house said the group’s utilisation rate is expected to gradually increase to around 90% closer to the launch date, compared with the current 75%.

“Interestingly, Inari has also brought in more RF testers on customer’s request, which will be fitted in the P55 plant while the P13 plant is already fully occupied.

PETALING JAYA: Inari Amertron Bhd is preparing for the annual ramp up of its radio frequency (RF) business in anticipation of the upcoming US-branded smartphone model launch soon in September.

The company’s utilisation rate at its Bayan Lepas, Penang plant is currently at some 75% and this is expected to gradually increase to about 90% nearer to the launch date, Kenanga Research said.

It has maintained its “outperform” call on Inari with an unchanged target price of RM3.30 based on a 28.5 times financial year 2023 (FY23) forward earnings per share.

It noted that the target price represented a slight premium to its peers’ forward average of 26 times.

However Kenanga said that this was justified by several factors, including Inari being the closest proxy to 5G adoption, its ability to sustain strong margins and the expansion of its revenue stream with new businesses.

Take, for example, Inari Amertron Bhd. Its net cash level improved by RM1.08 billion, to reach RM1.96 billion as at end-March. The major portion of its funds came from a private placement exercise, which was completed on July 30, 2021, and raised RM1.03 billion with the issuance of 333 million shares.

Inari’s massive capital raising exercise came at a time when it was in continuous discussions with potential new customers. It planned to raise the cash for potential investments in factory fit-outs, and to acquire and install new manufacturing equipment and additional production space to secure new customers and/or long-term supply orders.

Apart from that, Inari also said the funds would be used to accelerate plans to acquire and invest in “good value, high-quality and complementary semiconductor and OSAT (outsourced semiconductor assembly and test)-related companies and assets” that can generate sustainable revenue and earnings growth, good profit margins and good returns on invested capital.
