"Oil prices settled slightly lower on Tuesday after Brent rose above $75 a barrel for the first time in over two years, as OPEC+ discussed raising oil production.

Brent crude futures settled down 9 cents to $74.81 a barrel after hitting a session high of $75.30 a barrel, the strongest since April 25, 2019."

I am holding. Dip below .7 is an opportunity to add.

Dont know woo. At this moment everything depend on supply and demand. What worried everyone now is how many Iran supply will flooded the oil market due to US decision to lift Iran oil sanctions. At this moment everybody in oil industries are observing this as it will determine the next push for oil price.

neither hot nor cold? It's very cold lah, the last time crude above 75 years back, hibiscus is above 1. The most recent when crude above 70, hibiscus is at 0,745. Now, with super Mario deal and crude above 75, hibiscus is like a patient awaiting viagra...

42.4% retail shareholders

Posted by wallstreetrookie > 2021-06-24 17:23 | Report Abuse

What is wrong with high retail ownership? US and European blue chip companies are held primarily by retail and hedge funds. Is this a Bursa culture to hate on retail investors? Or is it an inversion narrative perpetuated by local investment banks?

Posted by wallstreetrookie > 2021-06-24 17:25 | Report Abuse

Hibiscus is fine. Oil is not going anywhere in this market environment. The catalyst is not over. Bears are getting vocal because KLSE is not looking great which is normal. KLSE has never been a favourite among foreign investors anywhere. Personally I love investing in Malaysia as an emerging market. However, most funds foreign or local hate KLSE so you will see a surge in short term trading

Hibiscus management predicts oil price will be around USD 50-60 per barrel in 2021 to 2024, oil price will only rebound more than USD 60+ after 2024. Good Luck.

Tomorrow is Inflation data. And soon PPI data followed by BNM interest rate decision. If you have no idea of the economic calendar, don't try to cherrypick articles to support your own belief.

@apple168 Crude oil already hit 75$ per barrel. The predictions were outdated. The analyst presentation was held in late May. This guy will do whatever it takes to make you sell. Same with MPI, Greatech, Unisem

Check @apple168 profile.

Asking people to sell large cap companies at the bottom. Wow, you really are a saint huh? Short-seller?

Posted by pancchen > 2021-06-25 01:29 | Report Abuse
