The earnings in this quarter was impacted by 62% high tax rate. Otherwise, the profit after tax won't be so bad.
What i don't understand is why the minority interest %in this quarter can be as high as 81% vs 28%
in preceding quarter ? Anyone knows can enlighten me ?
The high MI % in this quarter also negatively impacted the PATAMI.

The good point is management hinted in "prospect" column that the financial performance in FY2018 will be better than last year due to SKIN project.
I think who buy PresBhd is mainly due to the SKIN project. In last 2 months, PresBhd's stock price dropped drastically was also due to market worried about the termination of SKIN project by new government....but that didn't happen.

poor results mainly due to Microsoft software sales to the government had reduced tremendously by 61%. So the question is, will government continue to buy Microsoft licensing from PresBhd? Or there is other channels? Or, government decides to change system to reduce software licensing costs?

You see the renevue is still up a bit 55.9mil compare same quarter last year 55.2m but profit drop much..why?skin setup have to spend b4 juicy fruit getting big.

The new government is in the midst of reviewing their SKIN contract. If you announce a huge profit now you are looking for trouble isn't it ? Die die also need to massage the profit down lah

If SKIN contract is valued at 3.5 b, splitting into 3 years development revenue 500k at 38% margin and 200m recurring revenue per year for next 15 years. Plus non SKIN revenue... I think this is a really good gem.

This stock is very cheap, tax could be brought forward from previous year or set provision for next year, so just buy and collect because only good stock will pay dividend
