commonsense,have to look back the term of the compensation in the contract signed.

Usually, compensation amount derived from contracted amount minus of work that carried out. Company losses due to cancellation of the contract does it set in?

They have to compensate for anticipated 15 yrs future earnings as well.

Hi Daily8,

We can only speculate at the moment since the details of the contract are not made public. Most if not all concession contracts with the government falls under the Official Secret Act (OSA). Hopefully when drafting the agreement, Prestariang had used a very good law firm because i think the government will use a very strict interpretation of the contract terms in order to pay a lower compensation amount.

In my opinion it will takes some time before any amount can be reach. Till then investors need to be prepare for some volatility.

When we were approached for discussion...they aldy have a compensation range firmly in mind and its no way near those figures being talked about...

anyway...who can know all these thing now...just hope for the best

As i mentioned before....the preliminary figure put to us was 50 mil...mentioned in month sept..

So the final costing if they engage a new vendor must be less (inclusive of compensation) than a certain amount they aldy budgeted for...

Nothing cast in stone yet though
