Crossing Rm4.00 should not be a problem. The dates for the bonus is not fixed yet, once it does, the run up in price will be stronger as it close in to the Ex date

Buy Prestariang shares, says RHB

KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Research Institute reiterates its BUY call Prestariang Bhd on positive news flows from the oil & gas (O&G) sector and the improvement in Prestariang's university student numbers.
According to RHB, this will catalyse a re-rating of Prestariang's share price, thus it is accorded a higher fair value of RM4.32 from RM3.88 previously.

Prestariang said it entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with YPJ Holdings SB, the investment arm of the Johor Education Foundation (JEF)
to form a joint venture to establish PAM in Johor.

This O&G academy will provide upskilling and training for those aged between 17 and 25 in O&G sector skills like welding, pipefitting and fabrication. Prestariang will own 70 per cent in the JV with JEF holding the remaining 30 per cent.

"We expected this MOU as Prestariang was already in discussions on the setting up of PAM, particularly in Johor. This was in line with the company's goal of becoming a regional training and certification player for the O&G sector.

"We are optimistic on this, given that we believe there is a gap to be filled in terms of skilled workers, particularly for the upcoming refinery and petrochemicals integrated development (RAPID) project in Johor.

"We have already taken into account the positive news flows and are forecasting the academy being able to train 2,000 and 3,000 students for financial year 2014 and 2015 respectively," said RHB in its note.

RHB understands that JEF will help to secure the facilities to conduct the programme and estimates that Prestariang will have to fork out an initial outlay of less than RM1 million for the setting up of the course materials.

@Syimgoku You can see two buy rate, Volume & Transaction if you trade with Maybank IB. PRESBHD today's Volume buy rate is 61%, Transaction is 62% although price dropped 13 cents. I don't know other broker how they table their trade statistic.
