I don't think you convert the warrant into the shares via the broker..... in whatever case, any exercise of this warrant will be a few years down the road... its tenure is 7 years after all...

However, based on what I've read, this warrant seems to be different from others given that it has this step down pricing of like 7 cents per annum....

Correct me if I am wrong, but is this step down like a dividend? does that mean that we will receive cash into our accounts? If so, it seems like this warrant is a pretty good buy... coz it looks like it performs like any other share...

warrant premium becomes very high, not in line with mother share after exercise value.
0.65 + 1.86 = 2.51 (mother share is so undervalued)

warrant too high la ppl...sunway is not a fast moving stock...no catalyst apart from its 51 percent on suncon.
Take Pmetal and Pmetal warrant as yardstick..aluminium price goes up...Pmetal goes up..subsequently Pmetal warrant follows..

I dont really see it happening to sunway la..in terms of price movement. The warrant goreng too high dy la..BUT if you are long term on sunway,, yes go ahead..

i think because sunway businesses are those slow stable growth business. like property, education those. that's why its share wont suddenly jump a lot and volatile like pmetal.

SUNWAY recorded revenue of RM2,332.3 million and profit before tax of RM424.6 million for the current 6 months period ended 30 June 2017 compared to revenue of RM2,224.7 million and profit before tax of RM379.9 million for the corresponding 6 months period
ended 30 June 2016, representing an increase in revenue of 4.8% and profit before tax of 11.8%. The better performance in the current period was contributed by most business segments, except property development and quarry. Current period profit before tax was also boosted by higher fair value gains recorded by Sunway REIT, which was approximately RM33.1 million higher in the current period.
