Sunway Medical has about 500m profit. What happen if Sunway decides to list Sunway Medical as early as next year? With current hospital PE of 40-50. Sunway Medical alone can fetch value of RM2bn. A small subsidiary of Sunway can increase about RM0.30 per share value after listing. Maybe can think about it.

SUNWAY parent company shareholders will not get anything ,just when conso, will add the sales & profit as usual only

Sunway medical expand or profit up also SUNWAY shareholders dont get anything, unless if u buy SUNWAY medical shares

@RainT, I guess you didn't hold any Sunway Shares when Suncon listed. During that time, all Sunway shareholders received 1 Suncon share for every 10 Sunway Shares.

sunway should be continue as current model similar to suncon list if sunway medical is going to list. hold sunway medical as subsidiary, meanwhile unlock sunway medical value. but not sure sunway shareholders still getting free share and special div or not. looking at the development, sunway-wa which still eligible for 35cents step down worth a look.

the reasons i buy SUNWAY , other than its good and stable biz ...

other reason is its share price is well supported (i think)

so it will not free fall in one day like other companies (MYEG , GKENT etc) , hope i am right

Sunway targeting RM1.3 billion sales this year

Sunway Bhd has set a sales target of RM1.3 billion for its financial year ending Dec 31, 2019 (FY2019), from proposed projects with a total gross development value (GDV) of RM2 billion. This was revealed at a media briefing held in Kuala Lumpur on Jan 24.

According to Sunway property division managing director Sarena Cheah, the target is based on the group’s better-than-expected sales performance in the previous financial year (FY2018), where it achieved sales worth RM1.8 billion.

“We exceeded our 2018 sales target of RM1.3 billion and we closed the year with RM1.8 billion, mainly from Sunway GEOLake Residences and the first block of the first phase of Sunway Velocity TWO in the Klang Valley; Rivercove Residences EC in Singapore; Citrine Lakehomes @ Sunway Iskandar in Johor; as well as Sunway Garden in Tianjin, China. All these five projects achieved very good sales, averaging 85% to 90%,” said Cheah.
