For Sapura Energy, the sale of the 50% stake in SapuraOMV could be a game changer. At current exchange rates, the US$1.2 billion price tag works out to RM5.65 billion and could go a long way in assisting Sapura Energy with its enormous debt woes.

To put things in perspective, Sapura Energy has been a Practice Note 17 (PN17) categorised company — a classification for cash-strapped companies — since end-May 2022. In mid-December last year, Sapura Energy obtained an approval-in-principle from its financiers, enabling it to proceed with its regularisation plan and to exit PN17.

The sale of its 50% stake in SapuraOMV is key to the restructuring.

Sapura Energy, which is 40%-controlled by state-controlled unit trust fund Permodalan Nasional Bhd, has been grappling with high debts, but this could be the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel...

Since Mabel's cost is much much lower than PNB, Mabel decide to continue holding this National Treasure. She ain't heavy to hold...She's my sister.. Beside with more than 5 Billion Order Booked on the table, this revenue can go back to PNB and the Shareholders like Mabel...

If SAP starts work on Legacy projects in 2024, most likely SAP will suffer minimum loss bcos China Steel
price has fallen 16% in 2023 ( most likely conT falling in 2024 )----Atleast SAP will earn forex Gain with little
real profit----The Real problem is SAP's Sub-Con are Not willing to work unless Old Debt are paid.
Once WhiteKnight Cash pours in to paid Sub-Con Debt, most likely SAP revenue will reach 2-3 billion
( with new Bank OverDraft ) as indicated by previous Qr----So Bank Hair-Cut is the Life line for SAP to

CapA is in better position, loan received, hair cut also completed. capA can drag

sap is different, no loan no hair cut and no job. After 5 billion completed, all will use to pay debt. The longer it drag the worst for SAP. Sub con not received money also can't sustain and will not support sap.
