My concern as a shareholder - 2nd attempt by Felda to take fgv private
1. Will Felda team up with State Gov. of Pahang to offer a depressed price ?
2. If goes solo, will felda offer again a unfair price to us ?
3. Any plausible avenue available to protect our interests ?

Deadline not 3rd August? Until then enjoy 8 sen dividend first. Those make enough can leave anytime. Sure who bought RM 2 recently will not agree RM 1.5 or 1.8 if Felda offer low price again.

MUMBAI: The blistering rally in palm oil is starting to turn away customers in India, the world's biggest importer.

Buyers have cancelled as much as 100,000 tonnes of planned palm oil purchases in the past seven days, according to Sandeep Bajoria, chief executive officer of Sunvin Group, a Mumbai-based trader and broker of vegetable oils.

We cant buy at these prices, he said. ?Demand destruction is happening.

It's what banks and even palm oil producers have warned about sky-high prices will eventually result in consumers scaling back purchases or simply not be able to afford it anymore.
