该主席表示，州政府决定将原定在槟城连通性总体规划（Penang Connectivity Master Plan）计划下的 Penang Free WiFi 项目替换为 Smart Street Pole 主要源自于当局接到许多的投诉，例如上网速度以及成本等。



而这项最新的 精明街杆（Smart Street Pole） 计划，他将结合闭路电视（CCTV），摄像头以及路灯作为 WiFi 服务的通信杆，同时该主席表示虽然目前有几家电讯商在槟岛多个战略地点测试安装精明街杆（Smart Street Pole） ，无奈面对国家复苏计划种种限制，不得不导致计划推迟进行。


最后该主席也有给出大致的计划，计划显示精明街杆（Smart Street Pole） 将会建设在公共市集、学校和医院等公共设施，以便为在该范围的民众提供免费上网的服务，同时也能提供其他附加的便利，例如闭路电视监控、某些传感器，甚至电信传输。他补充说，关于电信传输，也可能在该州最终推出 5G 中发挥作用。

这个项目datasonic会投标，希望一切顺利

We will never know travelling need another year. Most important thing with highly vaccination rate this coming few months Oct- Dec, people might renewing passport and starting to travel.
