We are in a no win situation. Oil price goes up, then few years down the road oil company decide to expand, increase capital exp, then UMWOG get project, make profit, share price goes up. Meantime, before the UMWOG price goes up, petrol price goes up, every household things goes up, curry laksa, nasi lemak, roti canai all goes up,we all die!!!!

Obviously will still be a loss & the magnitude will depend whether there will be provisions. AllianceDBS research is misleading but read carefully about their disclaimers.

as we checked we find out actually C1 excercised price only 1.18 vs C2 1,38,
and both share same ration and maturity date .

However why to people only trade C2 a lot and make price up , but C1 which better than C2 no volume only 0 volume and price lower than C2.

can someone explain why C1 better than C2 but only C2 price up with volume
C1 die ?

0616 GMT (Dow Jones) CIMB resumes coverage of UMW Oil & Gas (5243.KU) and upgrades the stock to a hold rating from reduce, saying the firm stands a good chance of winning contracts from national oil company Petronas. The broker also increases the target price for the oil and gas services provider to 0.99 ringgit from MYR0.38 ringgit previously. "Our sources indicate that Petronas is planning to award at least eight drilling contracts in 2017," said CIMB. UMW Oil & Gas is the largest domestic owner of jack-up rigs.
