Halal status vaccine once available will make it hard for non-disclosed status of vaccine. The latter will lose 50-60% market too.. The fatwa if passed is likely will just allow Muslim to chose halal and non-halal/non-disclosed status of Covid-19 vaccine due to emergency condition caused by the pandemic. So MyEG has the upper hand at this juncture...

As I read the latest news, Sinopharm is the ONLY Chinese vaccine manufacturer to submit for registration by regulators. The other manufacturers ie Sinovac and Cansino are for emergency use only.

Full approval by uae means it can be used for the general public . This is in contrast to emergency authorization for Pfizer and Moderna vaccines by usfda and ukmhra
