Seemed like KStar Healthcare got some news. Why Kanger so quiet?

The Board of Directors of K-Star wishes to announce that K Star Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. (“K Star Healthcare”), the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has on 4 January 2021 entered into a Provisional Offtake Agreement (“POA”) with AT Glove Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“ATGE”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of AT Systematization Berhad (“AT Systematization”) for promoting, marketing, selling of medical glove product to the People’s Republic of China (“China”) and Taiwan.

Please refer to the attachment for details of the announcement and press release.

This announcement is dated 4 January 2021.

Earlier, Khairy said the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Committee would also discuss the decision to provide free Covid-19 vaccination to foreign workers, expatriates and permanent residents in the country.

Khairy said a meeting will be held jointly with ministries from Human Resources, Home and Foreign at the end of the month.

He said this was to allow the government to cover as many foreign workers as possible.

"The principle is simple, we need to vaccinate them (foreign workers) to ensure that we are all safe.

Diminishing no doubt but private currently only sinopharm has been approved so far . Other private vaccines not approved yet. Furthermore , most probably Malaysia will prioritize vaccination for Malaysian citizens first . Foreigners will be vaccinated only after Malaysians have been vaccinated. Not everyone is willing to wait.

Now Kanger just needs to formalize the distribution agreement and appoint a local company to register the vaccine in Malaysia. All this needs to happen in a timely manner. Hopefully Kanger will succeed in securing the vaccine allocation from Sinopharm and will make an announcement this month or perhaps next month.

Yes, it is Kanger I am concerned about, not Sinopharm. It depends on how concrete the paperwork is.

Solutions & MyEG all have binding distributorship agreements in place, unlike Kanger which still have not formalise any distributorships. The MOU which they signed as it is "Memorandum of Understanding", a non binding document outlining the intentions only.
